Its kinda bullshit they removed the molotow instakill/incendiary instakill anyway. I suppose its balance issue but it sure as hell isnt realistic. If someone throws a molotow at you, you are going to be burning, where as now you pretty much survive the driect hit.
Im not going to shit on a game for balqncing things, but seriously, its a game that takes couple of bullets to kill you anyway, does the molotow instakill REALLY matter that much its a balance issue?
You can walk through them if your hit by the flame u die but the red incen ones kill u on contact only molotovs u can walk through after the flames sat for a sec

Best thing is that aim and reaction times isn't everything with this game. 90% of success is good tactics, grenade use, and movement

Mk18 is my favorite gun in sandstorm. Haven’t put a compensator on it yet though. Gonna try this load out

Funny how the game is considered hardcore realistic but you can spray and pray with full auto from like 300 meters away and still be very effective. Hope NWI would do more stuff to nerf full auto and encourage more use of semi auto fire (e.g limiting ammo supply)
The problem isn't full auto at range, trust me full auto at 300 meters can still he effective.. with the right gun and attachments.. but the real problem with this game is the PC version... with a mouse you can eliminate recoil almost entirely. On controller it's much slower and 2 or 3 x more recoil. Also, the more people play the more they become Better and faster, and that makes the game less tactical. Slower speed, less ammo, and more recoil on PC and console, as well as less accurate gun patterns will make it more tactical. And I wish they would do it.. 90% of the rounds I play feel like COD.. and it sucks.. and that's on console...
I don't think anyone ever claimed it was hardcore and realistic; they're playing the wrong game if that's what they're looking for. It's a tactical fps and not much beyond that. It's fine as it is.
The thing is you want realism but full auto isn’t hard to control irl, and limiting ammo supply is stupid since most people carry more than enough ammo irl. That’s the thing a lot of people don’t get irl about combat or shooting
@@idontgotagun9867 I don't know what type of experience you have but I'd guess not much, full auto irl is and can be very hard to control based on caliber.. 7.62 at 50 yards past good luck, 308, even 5.56 at 100 is going to be a lot of luck, theirs a reason we teach our military to fire in Semi auto 99% of the time. Not to mention carrying 6 mags is 180 rounds, which is heavy on a Plate carrier.. let alone in pockets.. 4 mags and one insterted is plenty and it would force the game to slow down especially on push.
@@TheRealGunWhisperer Yeaa...180 rounds is heavy if you’re weak. Nobody complains except the skinny dudes who can’t lift more than 50 lbs. The majority of forces around the world carry at least over 100-120 rounds depending on the firearm. For machine gunners they can easily make them carry over 500-700 rounds but could be shared with a squadmate. And firing a full auto rifle in 5.56 is nothing lmao, 308 is debatable yes depending on the platform but hell even 7.62 isn’t hard. I’m telling you as someone who actually has hands on experience and yes you’re not gonna be hitting all your shots. Neither do most people when using semi automatic so that’s where the game is unrealistic if you wanna get technical. I get what you’re saying but the let’s be honest nobody is engaging targets at over 300m with full auto unless you’re a gunner or Taliban. Most engagements in insurgency are under 20 meters so it’s not that far fetched despite the game not being realistic at all

I love how I put all my guns on single fire cause all I care for are headshots and I still do really well
i use it depending on the situation but yeah it’s a good feature
It feels really good to double tap a guy with a mk18 on single fire, but most guns in this game have unrealistically weak recoil at full auto, so the meta is to use a fucking FAL and burst fire it at ranges up to 100m.

You should be able to search and scavenge extra mags/ammo through their bags!?
Sorta gets rid of the realistic feel cause that's the last thing you would in a firefight when ur gonna die, maybe make it so teammates can drop ammo with a certain class

The Daniel Defense Mk18 has needed a long overdue nerf. Luckily I have not seen many Dom or other game types as well with it being oversaturated with this gun. With it's unmatched low recoil (albeit, it has one of the highest 1st shot multipliers) it needs a nerf - like more muzzle sway (horizontal recoil). The gun is easy mode. And is the only gun that doesn't belong with the gun mechanics of the game. I'm glad it just is not as popular as it used to be. It was cheap to use.
Low penetration and SLIGHT velocity reduction are not enough to put this gun in line with the others.
I mean it’s 5.56 which doesn’t have much recoil to begin with irl even with full auto, i know because i’ve fired one and lives up to the hype

they should rlly add through in game challenges unlockable weapons skins and cosmetics to game to keep players grinding for something for example something like do 5 kills without dying 5 times to unlock a skin (skins and cosmetics need to stay realistic tho)

I have some trouble still with recoil and aim my sensativity was good now feels lil off any suggestions? I know sometimes its the stupid servers not working right and my bullets not killing em lol
Switch to single shot and pick your shots.
Either get used to the feeling in training or switch to single shot, most times I can put at least 3 shots into my opponent before he reacts.
If I ever get matched against Gibs I will simply uninstall the game

Hey man, what graphic settings do you play with? I never see the enemies shooting at me even if theyre right infront of me. Then the camera pans to them and im like they where THERE? But I checked that corner :S

is there any reason to take other guns rather OP guns with high caliber or high rpm? I tend to use only those guns(scar, tavor, vhs etc) because I feel other guns usually don't work better than them
Honestly the ttk is so low you can use any go if you have the skill. There are better guns compared to others forsure but the beauty of the game is about gunplay.

Yeah you can still shoot for I think up to 10 or 15 seconds inside restricted areas then it will put your gun to the side.

Are your graphics still the same form that video made on best FPS setting for insurgecy? I picked up the game today and I love it but am kinda bummed out I can’t run it at very high graphics. I have gtx 1650 super gpu and 13-10100 processor.
Yes, it’s a very demanding game at high but the graphics still look good with my setting IMO.

The game doesn’t play tactical like all the larpers want it to, it’s better to rush than to play slow in this game. Hell even in most “realistic” shooters rushers have the advantage
