I’m finally sharing my birth story. Hope you enjoy. - Jak na to + styl
I teared up watching all the food your community made for you. God is so good. My daughter had preeclampsia with her second son. I am so happy for you all. God bless your mother and your wonderful, Mr. Prep.
As a woman who has never given birth, I am sooo interested to hear your experience!
Congratulations on the safe arrival off your sweet BABY BOY!!!
Blessings🙏🏽🙌🏽❤️
What a beautiful family & community you have!
As a retired high risk antepartum/ postpartum nurse, I must say that you have been through the mill! I so appreciate that you are showing the " realness" of giving birth.
Many congratulations to you all!
Thank you for sharing that not all moms have birth experiences like pictured on social media or TV/movies. Labor is called labor for a reason - its HARD WORK!!! Even when you didn't look "social media perfect", you looked great, because you were so willing to be REAL. Congratulations to you, Shai, and the rest of your family! Beautiful baby boy! And thanks to your mom, too, for taking care of you like only a mom can!
Thank you for sharing your story, it was amazing. I gave birth 3 times all natural, and the third was delivered at home with a mid-wife. I feel your pain sister! It is difficult and pain like you have never felt in your life. I had very long labors so I was always exhausted by the end of it. But two sets of twins? WOW, JUST WOW! You are a rock star! It is OK to show the human side of childbirth. It is a blessing to bring a new life into this world, a new light to shine for G-d. I loved seeing the excitement of your children when the new baby was finally brought home. Lovely!
Mazel tov! God is good. He had and will look after His Children
Mazal tov Sonya and family wishing you all the best from Israel😊
Mazel Tov! I admire your courage in sharing your birth story and applaud you for your honesty. You have a lovely family and a wonderful husband. Many blessings ❤
Mazel Tov! Congratulations on your new baby baby boy 👶
I tried so hard to do natural birth. I labored for 24 hours. The baby was fine but my blood pressure was all over the place. I had told my doctor that I didn’t want any drugs, although I regretted that, we kept to that. Finally my doctor came in and said that this wasn’t working and he wanted to do a C Section. At that point, had he told me to jump out the window and the baby would come, I would have done it. It was about 7 minutes between the decision and the section. I was pretty depressed until my doctor actually sat me down and told me that the only thing that mattered was that the baby was healthy. He was right.
When I tell you I clicked so fast when I saw this 😂 Congrats to you and your family and I’m glad everyone came through healthy and well in the end.
Haha glad you enjoyed watching
You and Shai have the most beautiful family. God clearly knew what he was doing in blessing you both with such wonderful children. But most of the credit goes to you and your husband. It is so heartening to know that families like you exist. Mazel Tov on the latest addition and I am happy that you are finally back to good health.
Congratulations on your precious baby boy! He is so tiny! I appreciate your willingness to share the struggles you had. So many mommas are made to feel guilty because their birth experience and recover are not the picture perfect ones shown on social media. I love how excited your kiddos were to have the baby (and you) home. Your daughter holding her baby brother was so sweet. You could see the love she has for him and that she is going to be his protector.
Enjoy this beautiful precious time with your new baby and the rest of your family.
Congratulations on your new baby!!!! Adorable to see how excited your kids were to see their baby brother!!!!
💐The kids greeting the baby was Precious
❤️❤️❤️
He is so tiny! You have no idea how many mothers you have helped with your videos - just letting them know that what they are experiencing, they are not alone - and all your wonderful tips for keeping an organized home, cooking, etc. A lot of women today do not live near their extended families and they get really overwhelmed - your joy and encouragement is so reassuring to them to live in the present and enjoy just daily family life together!
Congratulations on your tiny treasure! I love the chorus of "where's the baby?" when you arrived home. Little guy has no idea how lucky he is to be so loved! So glad you're being kind to yourself during recovery. (Seeing your oldest daughter holding the baby brought tears to my eyes; one of my most cherished photos is of my sister at 9 years old holding infant me for the first time!)
Mazel tov, Sonya and family! Thank you so much for sharing your story and recovery, and showing us the support that is needed for bringing a child into the world :)
I was crying through our.. the love shared is beyond words. May G-d send many brochos of mazel refuah for you simchas and much nachas from the newborn and all the zisa kinderlach. Mazel tov ❤❤❤❤
Yay Sonya! The new baby is here!!! As soon as I saw your post I said, “What? Sonya had the baby?!” I clicked on the video right away. It was so special seeing your journey! The baby is beautiful and so so precious! 👦 Blessings 🙏🏼 and congratulations 🎉 to you and your family on your new tiny family member ❤❤❤
I’m pregnant and crying watching you both come home together

Seeing all the help you got made my eyes tear up. I'm so happy for the support you received both at home and from friends. Nearly 30 years ago I gave birth as a brand new nurse and I had to go it alone with minimal help. That really colored my postpartum period and it was tough. God bless you and your family friend. ❤
Congratulations to you and your beautiful family on your new little bundle of joy. I admire you so much. I also helped my daughter through all of her babies births. 3 c-sections and mastitis twice! The last baby was born right before COVID shut everything down. There is nothing like a mom to do only what a mom can do! You are very blessed. 💕
Sonya you are amazing! Tis birth story video is precious… 42 years ago I gave birth to my son at 34 weeks…it was crazy scary. He was only 4lbs 4 oz and had to stay at hospital for two weeks before he could come home to us. He is now a healthy man with children of his own.
God bless your beautiful family
Mazal Tov! I had my son 6 weeks ago and had preeclampsia at 39 weeks. I was in magnesium for a day or two and I KNOW what you mean. It’s so bizarre and coming off of it definitely messed with my head. So glad you and baby are home with your family- b”H everyone is happy and healthy. Much love to you and your family ❤🎉
I'm dealing with the same, gave birth a week ago at 36 weeks. They don't have me on mag but just general high blood pressure meds. Are you doing better? Please tell me this clears up
Sonya, my heart is with you. Your experience is remarkably similar to my own. Almost a year ago my daughter (first baby) was born at 34 weeks via emergency C-section due to preeclampsia. I had to be admitted to the ER 5 days later because my blood pressure was not stable and I had issues with horrible clogged ducts when my milk was coming in. And yes, the magnesium drip is the worst! It was rough but we made it through and I appreciate you sharing the raw reality of the postpartum experience. Your son is beautiful and I am so happy for you and your family! 💞
Oh Gosh Karen so sorry to hear all that you went through.
Sonya, thank you for sharing this sweet story (except for your extra pain). Another angel joins a beautiful family.
I was touched by the outpouring of love from your wonderful friends! What a beautiful community you have surrounded yourself with. I know you have gladly prepared meals for new mothers as well. Your own mother really inspired me. I don’t have grandchildren yet, but when I do, I want to be a blessing to them, like your mom was to your family ❤️
Oh boy what an experience! You don't have to apologize or say it could be worse, you went through a LOT and you deserve all the credit for getting through it and staying so positive, you don't need to compare yourself to anyone else. We're all put in exactly the circumstances we need to grow and fulfill our potential. Even tho it was hard, I hope you feel that You've grown and become stronger from the challenges you've been through.
I had all 7 of my kids without epidural coz I was so scared of it going wrong and the lack of control of my own body. But I've never experienced any of the things you speak about in this video, I can't even imagine what that's like. You're an amazing strong woman and we are all so inspired by you. Thank you for sharing your real raw story, I cried when you spoke about your mom. It's so true, no matter how old we get, there's nothing like having your mom when times are tough. Oh and btw the clip you kept warning us that you look "so bad" in - you look beautiful as ever! You have an inner goodness that shines out, you are glowing 😇
Oh thank you that’s so sweet
Mazel Tov family! SO happy you are recovering well and it's LOVELY to see you all enjoying the newest family member. @14:38 you know EXACTLY what she's asking - SO precious!
Congratulations on your beautiful little boy. And that you are recovering well. It’s wonderful that you show the reality of childbirth. I was shocked to my core when I gave birth at how I looked and felt afterwards. I felt somehow as if I’d failed because I was tired and fat and looked terrible. If I’d known ahead of time what was coming I could have saved myself a lot of misery. Been kinder to myself and enjoyed my baby more. This was forty years ago and I still remember. And I am just blown away by the meal train. What a great thing to do. So impressive. Be well.
Mazel tov! Watching the older children's expressions as they met the new brother was very endearing. This is what family means and is so worth any hard times we go through. May Hashem bless all of you!
Mazel Tov Sonya and fam, such a beautiful little miracle and blessing. The kids are amazing brothers and sisters to their new baby brother.
Hats of to the Jewish community for taking care of you and family with all the delicious food parcels, really a wonderful gesture. Sending much love from South Africa and a big hug to your mama for her love and support.
❤❤❤
AWWWWWWW, Congratulations, Sonja and Shai, on your lovely new baby boy!!!! May God bless him and keep him safe through all his years and give him much happiness and a good life filled with love, joy and prosperity!!! Mazel Tov!!!!!!
I originally started watching you for food content…. It’s beautiful how God works. Your beautiful energy, your compassion is why you have been blessed with the loving supportive people you have around you. I am so happy all turned out well for you and you and your latest precious one are healthy. I truly wish you and your family nothing but continued blessings.
Thank you
He’s beautiful!
Our first baby was a 32 weeker 3lbs 5oz. Thirty one days in the NICU and will be 37 next week!
Oh wow!
Congratulations!!!! Another little miracle!! Thank you for showing us what really happens as opposed to one of those 'false glam' altered versions. Wonderful community support!!!
I was premature too and let me tell you, "small is powerful"!!! 🎉🎉😁💯🎉 BLESSINGS, and wishing you & your family and your newborn son many years of love, joy and happiness!!! ✨✨
It's wonderful to have friends and neighbors providing food. That first paper sack, I thought had a never-ending bottom. You kept pulling bowls out. Lol. I'm so glad you and your baby are healthy. You're a precious jewel in this world. Thanks for sharing your real life blessing with us. A Hannukah to remember!
Bless your heart Sonya, you went through so much....praise God you and baby are ok now❤....your kids are precious showing their love and excitement to new member of the tribe.....you have never looked more beautiful.
I’ve been praying for you and will continue. I’m so thankful that things are going well now. I love that you are real in this video, and I love that you said to be kind to yourself. My babies are grown and gone, but their births are still very real for me. Thank you for this video!
Congratulations Sonya on your new baby boy. Thank you for sharing your birth story with all of us. It’s heartwarming to see the community supporting you and other new moms. Your children’s excitement at meeting their new sibling was priceless ❤.
Blessings to you and your family! Happy one month birthday little one!
I always wanted children, and am so happy to hear about women who bring new life into this world.
Happy Birthday to the baby! This was such a beautiful birth story! It is so encouraging to see the love and support you had from your husband, mother, and community. The children’s excitement was so precious! Praying you continue to heal and get your energy back.
You didnt look terrible. You looked amazing. I had to pull over and cry. God bless you and your beautiful family and God bless his little life.
When you just disappeared for a long time, I was sure something happened and somehow I knew you were going to have premature labor.
Wellcome back and wellcome to the new baby in this world.🌹🍀
Congratulations and Happy 1 Month Birthday Baby Boy!! I recently had my first child who is also a baby boy and just turned 2months on the 16th! ❤❤❤
Precious!!!! Such a blessing to have mom and the community help. A "real" video. Take care, Sonya and baby boy..God bless y'all...💙🙏
Congratulation. Just had our second set of twins -3months old. I am so grateful for your channel for your sweet disposition. I did not grow up Jewish but I did grow up celebrating Shabbat and just a lot of very similarities to you but for some reason didn’t associate it with Judaism. Now that I found your channel feel so at home, I Iove how you love your family, how beautifully you prepare for Shabbat -it is JUST what I needed. Feels like you’re my sister from a distance.
Awww thank you. Congratulations on the newest additions
The community supprt is incredible. Every new mom needs so much help and in this country there is so little support. I was lucky mY mom stayed for 6.months to help. Mazel tov for the beautiful family
Thank you for being real! I’m so glad you and the little one are doing well. ❤
So many blessings to you and your family!! I couldn’t wait to see this video and so glad that, in the end, things are going well. Love and or prayers!
You are beautiful because of who you are. I am sorry you had such a rough time but you were in HaShems heart. Your children are gems as well as your husband and friends. Always be gentle on yourself. Peace.

“Shhh!!! Baby needs quiet!” 🥹🥹Your birth story was so intense but ultimately so beautiful!
I’m Sooo Happy for you and your family! I got so teary watching all the sweetness and love flowing around. How wonderful to have your Mom there and Mr. Prep looks so happy and is so helpful, too. I’m glad you’re feeling better now and praying everything is smooth for you and baby from here out. Congratulations on the natural birth. I had 5 naturally. My 4th child was a preemie; she’s 34 now. I remember when i had one of my children, we received pizzas for 4 days and I decided to order out just to take a break from dairy! it is a mazel that the communities are still bringing meals to families with new members!
Thank you for sharing your delivery journey with us. Also, for keeping the footage real. Blessings to you and your family.
I am so glad both you and baby are healthy! Sounds like it was a rough couple of weeks health wise. I hope you all had a healthy and joyous Hanukkah.

Awe, kids were so excited!!!!!
Oh gosh, when I watched the clip with your husband when you were admitted, I could see and feel the uncertainty and anxiety in your eyes ❤ I remember that feeling. I also experienced the magnesium IV - brutal! You are so brave…I am so happy that everything has turned out alright and you and baby are home and doing well.
Que família linda. Deus abençoe e proteja. ❤❤ Minha mãe teve ,pré Eclampsia,do último filho. Somos 4. Todos os vizinhos cuidaram de nós éramos muito pequenos. Mas eu me lembro ,que todos ajudavam.
