When you say "happened all at once" (believe, indwelt in Holy Spirit, Baptized in the Holy Spirit)" yes that is the way it happened in Acts 11, but go back to Acts 2 in the Upper Room. Some of those people had believed awhile back (such as the Disciples). My point, there is no steadfast Biblical mandate that it needs to happen all at once.
