Love the slow-mo of the sprint start where you can see that the whole blade is not quite buried. I bet this happens naturally like gears on a bicycle.

Canoe & Kayak why is it that she points her fist down with her on hand ( hand closer to water) does that create lift with the paddle thus lifting the boat out of the water compared to pushing the boat down?

After viewing the stroke technique of the great giants of kayaks, I have concluded that they have not yet reached a level of excellence which, today I already have, for the development of a much higher speed. My rich practical experience, which I can share with the best kayakers.
Unfortunately, in Ukraine, I have no opportunity to use, implement, my exclusive new stroke, if I can use this stroke on the practice abroad, as a result, our beautiful sport, will be even more popular.

Lisa !!! you need to perform strokes, very close to the kayak board, but before the end of the stroke, on the basis of this condition, your speed will increase significantly .

sorry - wrong. her technique is just perfect the way it is. wing blades need to be pulled outward to utilize their hydrodynamic effect.

sorry man but you are wrong. she's doin just fine. if you believe end stroke closer to the boat would boost your speed up, you dont understand the way we make a stroke at all.
