THE NIMZ, ZAHEERABAD
The NIMZ Zaheerabad is a flagship project under the National Manufacturing Policy (NMP) of the Government of India. The project is spread over 12,600 acres and aims to create an integrated industrial ecosystem that promotes innovation, sustainability and inclusive growth.
The NIMZ project is designed to attract a wide
range of industries including Electrical Machinery, Metals, Food Processing,
Non-metallic Minerals, Automobiles, Machinery, and Transport Equipment. The
project is expected to generate more than 2 Lakhs of employment in various
sectors and improve the local infrastructure, thus generating a better
socio-economic condition for the local population.
The project also focuses on skill development and professional training for the local population to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills to take up jobs in the various industries that will be set up in the NIMZ. This will also introduce them to advanced manufacturing technology, which will lead to high-end productivity and increased competitiveness in the global market
