Yes you can. It has happened before. With David Meyler if I remember correctly
I think what you are asking is: if you try to go for an icon and your opponent guesses it, can you go for an icon again later for a different position?
Answer is yes, you can. You can also go for the same player (e.g if you go for Yazici POTM at st and it gets guessed, you can go for base card at cam)
