Its against Adsense terms and conditions. Ice is just an idiot and doesn't read things so he always does dumb things. It rare for an adsense account to get canceled but it has happened to the handful that have had one viral video shared how much they made then a day later youtube takes down the video and they say their adsense account was closed.

You dun goofed bro. A network isn't going to get you a higher CPM. That's relative to the advertisers and the content you produce (which isn't really advertiser friendly in this day and age). They're just going to net you an extra million views for 40% of your earnings. You could have done that on your own with proper thumbnails and clickbait.
Considering he makes his money from streaming, I'd say giving up 40% of the tiny CZcams money would be worth an extra million potential live viewers.
I still see it as a lose-lose situation. He's giving up a good chunk of his revenue for a slight boost in reach. He can't do live streams forever, and, if he decides to take a few days off, these past video highlights are what is going to keep the bank rolling in. He could have invested a measly 5% of his earnings into adwords and gained a similar boost on his own. Ice is big enough at this point to optimize his reach on his own with better thumbnails and titles that bring people in.

Literally not true. A premium network (which BP is) WILL give you a higher cpm if you're currently unmanaged.
Also, average split is 90/10 right now. Stop spreading false info. People who are a bit bigger than Ice actually get paid to be on the network as well.
If you're in a 40% deal right now, e-mail them and ask them to change it. They should and probably will, in 2017.

CZcams is now a career. It's not 2005 anymore. People support themselves fulltime by doing youtube now. Lots of them make hundreds and thousands of dollars a year. It's hard work too. Lots of time creating ideas, producing, filming and Tons of editing involved. Many youtubers work theIr asses off 10, 12 or 15 hours a day. It's actually easier to just be a normal person and slave at some annoying job 8 hours a day. Then come home and do nothing. Those people have it easy. However It's the people on youtube who actually work VERY VERY HARD!
