I carried an LCP in my pocket for a dozen years, along with 2 spare mags in my other pocket. This year, I moved to the LCP Max as a pocket carry, and still carry 2 spare mags for it as well. On the Max, I did put some M-Carbo parts in it, and it made it an entirely improved gun. I can keep everything on a 3x5 card at 7 yards now, so for a small gun, it is very acceptable. Like you, not counting the Army time, I have never had to shoot anyone or even brandish a gun in the past 30 years. I have had a few occasions where my hand was discretely in my pocket, with a firing grip on the handle a few times, when things looked potentially sketchy. Hopefully, those days of hot stuff on bad stuff are well behind me now.
I agree.. a few close calls over the years.. I started with the lcp max and found it bulky for my basketball shorts that I wear every day.. but it is a great pistol for 12 rounds when needed.. nicer overall to shoot and we'll designed for it's size
thanks.. the length of the barrel is needed for the spin to cause the mushroom.. if you watch ballistic testing ( I watch a ton) you will see that out of short barrels the bullet most often does not open at all. even the companies mark that they are effective out of standard full size barrel.. this is a 2.75 inch barrel so no mushroom but I dont mind hopefully it never gets used outside the range
I;m glad you made the comment about the power grid going down some day. I've heard in a different video you're a prepper. But i didn't know what catastrophe you were prepping for.
I am very open about the fact that I am a prepper. I did a podcast on another channel a few weeks back .. channel name (uk urban prepper) feel free to check out the interview and it will answer many questions about me and of course if you ever have any questions im always here

Nice stuff. I thought a hollow point opens from the impact on the target. Have a beautiful evening. 🙂👍
