  • The final part in the XS650 Engine build, since part 8 I have again stripped and rebuilt this engine after a schoolboy error of not checking all the parts before assembly, the neutral light switch was leaking oil after the first start up and when I tried to tighten it, found that the thread was stripped. So I had no choice but to completely strip the engine to fix that issue, and after stripping the engine noticed the amount of play in the piston small ends, so new connecting rods were in order with new bearings, wrist pins and rings. All done now and ready to be put back into the frame of Mikes chop build.

Hi Duc, not sure to be honest, the cars came already built with the engine so I haven't really looked, next time I get round the garage I will have a look and see
