- Harrah's is another contender for the best cheap hotel on the Las Vegas strip. In this video, we booked a standard king room, but ended getting a pretty cheap upgrade to a suite! We also go on to explore the pool, casino, restaurants, and even some cheap eat pizza!

I love that you finally reviewed Harrah's - this is where my husband and I would always stay when we would come to Vegas. As you stated, the location is perfect - and since neither one of us ever cared about the pool, this was the perfect place for us. I can't wait to get back.

Love that you review the smaller food venues and the “cheap eats “. I’ve gone to Vegas solo a few times and while I will hit a restaurant or buffet alone, a lot is times I will just want to grab a smaller quick bite.

Yes it is. Me and my wife just stayed there in May. Great location and freshly remodeled. Highly recommend
But a huge number of people don't like to swim. My parents LOVED Las Vegas, but being older, they no longer swam. This hotel, being centrally located, was perfect for everyone who wants other hotels close, and don't swim.

Great hotel! Amazing food options...and..... you're right next to really budget friendly food like, Outback steakhouse, McDonald's, White Castle, Panda Express, inexpensive food at Casino Royale, and Denny's! If you're on a budget...it's a great place...if you like more upscale...your in the right neighborhood!!! I'm staying there on July 15!

Ahaha I love that you have a pop because we are among those who dont use the pools. It's just not where we spend our time. So this place actually looks worth checking out for our friendcation in October where we are hopping hotels all th way up the strip. Great video!!

Another Excellent review !! Have been staying at harrahs for longtime & have not seen the new rooms. Best location - always save lot on cabs & buses. Usually stay 10 nights - half my day playing poker at bellagio or Venetian. Would rather stay where I play but bellagio is too expensive & I always get clean comfortable strip view for good price. Btw maybe 1 hr. day I’m relaxing at the pool so Harrahs is my Vegas home. 👍

I have a timeshare there in Las Vegas at the Grandview so I am there every three years (from Texas) and every time I leave regardless of if I win money or not I always miss it. So being able to watch your videos and reviews always brings me back.
We love staying at Harrahs. It’s right in the middle of the strip. We don’t need super fancy rooms since we don’t spend much time in the room. -S

We stayed in the Linq, when it was named "Quad". There was a bundle with just 1$ more to get a breakfast at the Starbucks in Harrah's. (A voucher worth 9$ there every day) We loved that! With two we could combine that to 2 coffees plus a Salad and that always was a great start in the morning. That was 2014 or so. I don't think they still have that offer. And we could go onto the balcony from our room. Great!
Carnaval court is a MUST!!
The Whip-its put on an amazing show, very entertaining and flair bartending included at no cost..haha
Harrahs is nice, I stayed there, everything is new, new restaurants easy to walk everywhere. Loved it.

Stayed at harrahs in June, it was great. For being a cheap hotel, it’s actually pretty nice and good location!
I'd say less expensive. Prices really very - on their website, a room August 8th is $50. A room August 14th is $204. Monday to Thursday, rooms under $50. Friday nights rooms are in the $100+ range, Saturday nights rooms go for over $200.
Thank you Mrs Ruby - I’ve never stayed there but gambled a lot. Interesting they did $200 million in upgrades. Yes - my wife and I love the pool scene, so that’s a must for us.

During pool season I try to select a hotel with a nice pool, but during the off season I tend to try new locations or places that might not have a great pool scene.
Pool time is very important to me, so this would really not work for me. But the room looks really nice and a great value. Thanks for posting this.
Four of us stayed there in December 2019 in a suite like that but with two queens. It was a wonderful experience since it was the other couple's first time in Vegas. With my Ceasars Rewards it cost the same amount as a regular room in Ceasars Palace. The location is excellent and there are no pools open in December anyways. We weren't so crazy about the casino itself but you are very close to so many other great options. And again, for the price, it's hard to beat that room! I actually prefer Mirage across the street though, especially during pool season.
We will be in Vegas next month and we will definitely be hitting Harrah's and Carnival Court.
Spot on review coming from someone who has been staying at Harrah's the last 5 or so Vegas trips. I love Harrah's for the location as I mostly just casino hop, not in it for the pool scene. I would also like to add that it is super easy in and out of your hotel room to the strip. Also, another great cheap eats food option especially for breakfast is Denny's on the other side of Casino Royale. Venetian is super close too, love gambling in their casino 😊
And I love gambling at Casino Royale, super friendly staff and waitresses come around often!

I recommend if you ever get to atlantic city try harrahs out there, it's the flagship Harrah and the pool is top notch.
We have stayed in a few hotels But have to say Harrahs is now our hotel to stay in ,,,, large king room & very clean I think it’s been newly renovated not sure when. Also Bed really comfortable have been sleeping the hole night which I never do,,,, it’s also close to ..Walgreens for essentials like water.

I stayed in that same type of suite back for NYE 2019. I wish more hotels had vanities like that…it was so nice to sit down and do your makeup. The food hall was great and all of the staff were so nice. I remember coming back from the club in the wee hours and they had nice, hot breakfast ready. I am not sure if it’s still there, but they have a little ice cream shop upstairs and at one point, I had some downstairs too that had chips and candy mixed into it. I slept so good those nights. There were some logistical issues though. Check in took so long, even in the Diamond member area. I mean excessively long. Then, a day later, when my key stopped working I couldn’t get anyone to help me and had to wait 45 minutes in line to “check in” again. I’m not a pool girl but more of a spa girl so I like to try the spa whenever I go to a new place. When I went to the spa, they gave me a small, very thin robe to change into, and didn’t inform me that the lounge area was co-ed, so I walk into a room with several men in there with my big chest like out there barely covered. I was so embarrassed. The massage was nice though. Later, security knocked on my door and told me they had to inspect my room since I had my do not disturb sign on for longer than they thought I should have it on for (uh ok? It was my first full day and I told you my schedule when I checked in. Wouldn’t a phone call suffice if there was a concern?) The worst part was those aggressive skin care people. The have a store right when you walk in. I didn’t even get through the front door when a worker ran up to me and opened it for me and started pointing out all of what she believed were flaws on my face and how her magical cream could help me. Then, in the bath store right near the check in and main entrance to the strip, there was another skincare guy in there aggressively trying to sell product every time I walked by. For these reasons, I’ll visit again, as it has some good eats, but I doubt I’d stay again unless I am on a tighter budget and not staying too long.

I've always liked Harrah's and have stayed there a few times. I don't care much for their Casino though as I've never even come close to winning money there. I know, you don't go to Vegas to win money, but right next door is the Casino Royale and I seem to do very well there for some reason, especially when compared to my play at Harrah's. Excellent video and hope you are having a good day.
Here is what I find about Harrah's, Flamingo and Ballys... room renovations are great but sometimes even the new rooms are not well cleaned. The biggest disappointment is in the lobby and elevators. I was grossed out by the elevators in some of those hotels.
Carnaval Court is the best spot in Vegas, Best Bartenders, strong drinks and the best bands!!
Love Harrah's stayed there in the updated Rooms and they were really nice. It's smack dab in the middle of the strip. We had a strip view right across from the mirage and every night we got to see the volcano fire show which is beautiful. I recommend Harrah's
