    Looking to get one. I'm 1.88 cm and 85kg. Do you have any suggestion for the right size?

    There’s a 7”2’ at heritage margate. How do you think that’ll do for a guy 6”4’?

      That’ll do just fine I just picked up a 6’6 board at sea isle heritage it’s sick and has glasses in wood fins

    Can you compare this board and the Wolverine?

    Is this better in wind blown chop surf then the Ccfish?

    • @REALWatersports
      @REALWatersports  Před 4 lety

      Hugo, it will definitely cut through the chop a little better. The length will help it feel more glidey.

    Realise Christenson doesnt do "volume" but how much would you say this size has - thinking it is around 41 - 43 l - looks ideal but dont want something that you cant duckdive (obviously no short board but - have a 5 10 std Chris fish )

    • @79pejeperro
      @79pejeperro Před 4 lety

      I have a 6'6 20 3/4 2 5/8 Nautilus that I can duckdive. I'm 5'10 83 kg decent fit

      Go on the Pukas website (online shop) and they have a board customizer for Christenson's and it will give you a volume. 6'10" is just under 46L.

      @@79pejeperro if possible can you tell me what toe angle the fins have? 1/4" like a thruster or 1/8" like a twin fin? Or something in between?

    • @79pejeperro

      @@vanislandsurf I don't really know.
      I can tell you I have two Nautiluses.
      Both 6'6 but one is 20 3/4 2 5/8 glassed on quad and the other one is 20 1/2 2 9/16, which is the standard dimension, thruster.
      I love both, the quad is better paddler and the other one works better in beachbreaks. I didn't think such a small dimension difference could make such a difference in how they behave on the wave.
      I've surfed the thruster with FCS modern keels and AM T2 twin fins with tracker. Usually surf it with AM 2 L size thrusters, which I think are the best option since the fin position is not suited for twin fins.This board definetely has more angle in the front fins positioning.
      The glassed on quad fins have a straight position and still the board turns easily and gives me a lot on confidence. Both boards fly over flatter sections and carry speed like crazy, but the quad one obviously does this better.
      What I've learnt with my nautiluses is that they work well in average waves but shine in bigger and better days, they always are the fastest boards in the line up, no matter the conditions.
      And my advice is, don't change the standard dimensions. Better go to the next size than bulking a lower length.

    How manoeuvreable is the long phish (on a scale 1 to 5

    • @REALWatersports
      @REALWatersports  Před 4 lety +1

      Bruce, that really just depends what you're used to. It's super maneuverable, and the size doesn't feel big in the water at all
