Migrants have flooded into Europe because of wars in the Middle East, arriving at Greek islands through Turkey, on their way to Macedonia. Their aim is to travel through Serbia and Hungary, and on to other European countries, particularly Germany, through Austria.

The EU should held leaders accountable. For instance, Nigerian president has been visiting the UK to use their medical facilities. I think the UK government should deny him accessing their hospital and mandate him to fix the hospital in Nigeria.

40 yrs ago its was happened to myself and my family. my country, we has lost over millions of life to the ocean when we fled from Vietnam..some of us are really lucky includes me and my family that we landed to the third country now we called is our home,i thought its all over now..but I'm wrong its happened again to this people. .today is 2019 and we still have this kind of stuff going on..please everyone give it a hands to help this peoples out and lets give them hope again..i really hope this people gonna be ok and live in a normal life..god blessed you all.?

Let me put something to this story.I am hungarian and i was in Budapest helping for a charity when this all happened.Altough our government might have been not helpful but we did try to provide water, food and clothing to the migrants.They were allowed to go to the shops and there are lots of shops near Keleti station.I felt truly sorry for them but unfortunately the hungarian government hardly helps for its own people even.Im glad they have reached their destination safely and hopefully building a better future for their children.

evilken i left the UK a few days ago. In France i destroyed my passport, and later today I will get into a small boat to leave for the UK. I have changed my name to Omar X. After i sneak back on the boat, the UK Immigration Officers will put me up in a Hotel (4 Star) and the Government will give me £49.50 each week.
I will live in the free hotel for a year or two as i wait for a free flat/home. During that time i will not have to pay for TV license or water bills/ electricity bills. I will eat 3 free meals served to me each day in the hotel, as i access the free WI-Fi on my i-Phone 6.

We can all agree that its not their fault. They’re all victims and just wanted to live as simple as that because they’re being slaughtered muslim or non muslim, they dont have a safer place to stay nor food to eat. All they wanted is an asylum until the war ends. Of course they wanted to live and go back to their mother land where they feel at home. Why are we debating so much if we only help each other find a solution not pointing fingers and blame on each other. We are all going to die after all. Lets make earth a better place instead. The end of Europe as we knew it..... so so sad
Both of my uncles have actually gone through this where they were smuggled from the Middle East into Greece. They both were granted citizenship and were allowed to stay. later on one of my uncles wives and children had to go through the same ordeal just to live a better life. Fortunately me and my family had gotten a visa to live in the US, and I’m so grateful. I think about everyone who wishes for the same and I hope to one day be able to help and have a career in immigration law.

Lesvos is the island I come from. In 2015, you were seeing ENDLESS groups of Syrians (mostly women and children) walking next to the roads of the cars. Many of us were worrying that the Americans would give freedom and democracy (😉) to Syria (it was the time that they were talking about such a scenario).

"Beggars cannot be picky" This saying applies to this situation. How can they expect these countries to dish out so much of their much needed funds on refugees when they cant help their own. They need to express gratitude rather than say they deserve better food or better camps. You are safe from the conflict zone. My heart is with you all but you cannot put this much pressure on these countries when they just do not have the means. Or the countries they try tracking too, can not accommodate the influx of refugees within those countries and give them citizenship.

Their life is so bad, because their country is being demolished by bombs. If you speak to the Syrians most of them are heartbroken that they have to leave their country. Their home is gone their jobs are gone, their hospitals, schools, stores, families, neighbors, everything's gone. They talk about how they liked their life before the war. Especially the ones that have the money to get to Germany. They have that money because they did have a good life, they worked hard, and had a little spending money saved. They talk about having good jobs, and good homes, working hard, and studying hard. They're not fleeing their life, they're fleeing the war, the area they live that's repeatedly being shelled by 5 different organizations. Their military, my military, your military, other militaries, ISIS, other militias, and rebel groups. They're not exactly excited to be leaving everything they knew, and everything they loved to walk the lands of foreign countries, they know they're not welcomed in. They're destination is Germany, because Germany promised asylum for them, and Germany would provide a better life style than even what they had and loved. Who wouldn't want that opportunity, if being forced out of your home anyway? I love my country, and have no plans of moving any time soon. I love my life, my job, my education, my opportunities, but if it was being torn apart in a war, and forcing me to leave if I don't want to die, and another country, better than my own country, was giving asylum, that's where I'd head. I have a life too. I'm not involved with my government's drama. I have kids I want to raise, and educate. I want to support my family, and community, and live safely. I'm not sticking around to fight someone else's battles, they're not mine. I'd rather watch my family grow up, then be a premature, dead, hero in a history book. I can definitely see where there needs to be some kind of system in place. But I don't understand how people can look at a city like Aleppo, or Rakka, and just not agree with fleeing being not only the best option, but the only option for civilians. I might be on this ship through default, but I'm not apart of the crew, and I'm damn sure not the captain, why should I go down with it too?
