Such a wonderful and exciting flower line up for your garden. The giveaway #1 Soup Mix seed, book, and gloves arrived today! Thank you so much and good luck to everyone in the flower giveaway! I will sit this one out to give others a chance to win these awesome seeds.
This is a reminder of what I am forgetting on starting for the early season. Tons and tons of snapdragons started, and many more now that I have seen this. 😂 Thanks for the info and good luck this season
I started flowers last year for the first time. Mostly containers and landscape. I wish I had more land! Watched youn the first time on your lisianthus video! Absolutely LOVED you seed starting in a dress! Well done. Tried lisianthus last year. All germinated, but all the tiny plants died. 😢 Trying again this year. Hoping for the best!! So happy to have found your channel. I'm in Algonquin, IL..Zone 5b
Welcome to my channel! Glad you could join us. Actually it wasn't a dress, but a long sweater and leggings, but il did look like it lol. I killed my lisis the 1st year. Soil blocks were the answer. Keep trying. They are so worth it!
The scabiosa caught my attention this year while I was going thru the seed catalogs! But Ive never tried it, maybe this is the year 😊 My daughter would love to start a small cut flower garden sometime!
Hello and welcome! Scabiosa are very easy to grow and so many varieties. It's very easy to start a little cut flower garden. Great idea for a video for the small home gardener.
I enjoyed the video and became a subscriber to your channel. (I’m not entering the contest as I’m Canadian but wanted you to know I appreciated seeing your flower choices for your cutflower garden.)
Thank you so much for your kind words and for subscribing to my channel. I have a couple more seed hauls, i.e natives & annuals coming and some plant hauls in March. So stay tuned!
I purchased some stock seeds to try for the first time this year. I am also going to be trying lavender queen butterfly pea. My first time growing either but super excited. I am just starting to delve into cold season flowers.
Gorgeous flowers and colors! And so many new varieties of flowers. I want to grow Bachelor Buttons and Bells of Ireland among others. Love your organization and giveaway!
Hi Dee! Both are awesome cool season annuals. Be careful with the Bells of Ireland on the bottom. They are very spikey! I didn't realize last year until I went to cut them! Ouch! LOL....but everyone wanted to know what they were. Thanks for watching! :)
I planted poppies last year am planting them this season again along with pansies. There's snow on the ground here now and was wondering when you would recommend I sow the poppies? Thank you Debbie for all your awesome videos! You inspire me to plant new varieties of flowers.🌺🌹
Thank you so much! I would recommend as soon as you're able to work your soil. For me, zone 6A, I would say late March- early April. Early spring. I'm trying again myself this year. I might put some under a tunnel with the ranunculus/anemones.
I am more of a vegetable gardener who is trying to increase my flowers. I like the sweet peas but all of them are pretty. I need to get some seeds started.........
The snapdragons are really pretty. My favorite one you got is the Potomac Early Sunrise Mix Snapdragons. Love the colors! Another hardy annual I'd like to plant are marigolds. Apparently, they keep snakes away!

@hollymonte6690 thank you so much! Great you're enjoying it! Have a great day!
The strawflowers are cool looking. Looking forward to growing those this year at my new to me house
They are! They are papery flowers that look good in the summer in a container and then cut for dried flowers.
waiting for this video
