Voices for Faith & Dignity: Concert Honoring the 30th Anniversary of the SMOM as Observer at the UN

On June 12th, 2024, the Sovereign Order of Malta hosted a celebratory concert at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, honouring the Order’s 30th anniversary as a Permanent Observer at the UN with an event titled, ‘Voices for Faith and Dignity’. This special occasion was a testament to the Order’s long-standing commitment to promoting faith, dignity, and humanitarian efforts on the global stage.
This momentous event featured musical performances from across the world, including the United Nations SRC Symphony Orchestra, Joaquin Maria del Rosario & The ADNY Coro Hispano, The Brooklyn Interdenominational Community Choir, and Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Cathedral Choir.
The performances underscored the event’s theme of faith and dignity, reminding everyone of the values that the Sovereign Order of Malta continues to uphold. The concert was not just a celebration of past achievements but also a reaffirmation of the Order’s mission to bring compassion and support to those in need around the world.
