Smashing review . Bought one of these earlier in the year great radio my only complaint is that the sound is a little tinny otherwise love it.
I've never been interested in home appliances...
But this man has converted me.
I'd buy a dishwasher from him. Despite the fact I don't have a connection for that.
A very informative presentation, but it would have been useful to hear how the radio sounded.

I don’t have this model but another Roberts radio and I can honestly say they are extremely good and the best. I like this model and think it’s nice and compact. I glad you mentioned that it comes with a mains plug as I was wondering if it did or not as many products these days they leave them out. Also I always recommend when buying a dab that people always get one with a dab+ so you can receive all the available stations, which this lovely radio has!

My son and I each have one of these radio's. On both of them the factory reset will not operate, and the stations that have been set will not change, after switching off, then on again.
That does sound odd, i would contact Roberts to see if they can help you out.
Have tried, but support just advised that if I went to curry's or John Lewis, then they might be able to help, thank you for contacting me anyway.

Good and informative review, but I'm far more impressed with the Majority Eddington. Tiny with massive sound, but a very smart and rechargeable device for not so big money. Also, waiting for the station to tune would be irritating for me. It just doesn't seem as intuitive a device as it being a Roberts (good quality) would suggest it might be, would be better if they had a dedicated button for the station info and you could select a station by pressing the tuning button in as opposed to cycling station info. It's ok for 35 quid, less than Roberts usually ask for a radio, can't help but think they could have made the device a little more user friendly. But as said, for 35 quid its price is certainly attractive.
I'm disappointed that it doesn't have an alarm. They should all have a wake up alarm in this day and age. Even the most basic phone has them.

I have one if these but the sound doesn't go through headphones. I dont know why. You can still hear the radio from the speaker not the headphones.

I am having difficulty getting the volume to increase. The aerial is fully extended, the programmes are set on DAB but when pressing the volume + the increase number on the dial stops at 20. Can you please help. Thank you.

I have had mine for about a year .Currently it is taking time to come on and goes off when slightly moved.Any ideas why?
Sounds like a loose or dry joint inside when it goes off if you move it

Quality radio - dog toffee software. Randomly turns on at midnight, Roberts never fixed this bug. Gave up, buying a Sony.
My Roberts 10 switches on but says on the screen waiting and it never changes is it broken ?
Not too sure it sounds either it is broken or it needs resetting by disconnecting the power for a couple of minutes.
Doesn't discuss the loudness of the volume or how it sounds?
I did think about a sound demo, but through CZcams it would be really difficult to show the sound to its best as most people will be watching on their phones and tablets so may not sound that good. Fair point though thanks.

Hi. Thank you very much. I have just ordered one and it will be delivered tomorrow. But what you did not tell us is after setting three pre set stations and then wanting to change a pre set station to another, how do you do it? Most interesting and clear description. GarryUK
Find a replacement station and again hold down the pre set button you want to replace this station with as previously explained and the new channel will be set

I love having a radio in the kitchen so I purchased this one. I can hardly pick up any dab stations and FM can be quite crackly. Disappointed 😞
That's a shame as we have sold a lot of these and get very few complaints like this

Dab radio coverage in Ireland is terrible.
I like polite radios but the plastic turns me off.
Mine turns itself on randomly.

Why can’t I get radio 3 extra
You will find that some radios just dont pick up certain channels in certain areas. I know this doesn't help but sometimes moving the location of the radio and retuning it can make a difference.
I think you mean BBC 4 extra?
Because there is no Radio 3 Extra.

Why don't you ask for a refund. You might get as much as 30p !
Maybe he couldn't play content from the radio because of copyright?
