- London Jungle DJ, Producer and Archivist Tim Reaper picks his five favourite B-Sides for Telekom Electronic Beats TV. The sound of early 90’s London pirate radio has heavily influenced Tim’s own Jungle and UK Hardcore inspired productions, which have been released on labels like 7th Storey Projects, Lobster Theremin and Green Bay, alongside his own Future Retro label, and heavily featured on NTS radio in London. Let’s see what gems he has in store for us!

Thanks to Electronic Beats for allowing me to showcase some of my favourite b-side tunes, hope you all enjoy watching
🙏 our pleasure. Keep the level high!
Big up yourself thanks for the picks 🙌
Some nice picks
GREAT choices Tim! Didn’t know about the Photek alias “Synthetics”!
Stellar picks, Tim. Love your new EP BTW.
Put some respect in this man's name. Legend in the modern Jungle game. Every single tune a belter. Impeccable taste displayed here too
I'm ignorant of much Jungle/drumnbass knowledge but greatly respect the communities. Devoted like no other genres.
Welcome to the family mate
This guy is truly talented and has so much knowledge.
Love this series. I’m either hearing tracks I love and know well, or discovering new stuff I might have missed from the past. I’m usually watching an episode and then heading over to discogs lol 🖤
Glad you like them!
this channel should be getting comission off discogs with their b-sides and blind test series! :D
Please please keep the jungle coming. Loving this channel.
please. sully next!
Tim has so much swag
Talented guy ! This guy is the futur of drum and bass and dub ! True DJ.
What a cool dude.
you can tell he feels it
Love seeing a light put onto the hardcore jungle era tunes.
Wicked! Tim Reaper is a very talented producer & DJ in his own right. Someday peeps will be pulling up his B-Sides on this program! 😉💯🎶
Thanks Tim Reaper. I’ve enjoyed your music production and selections.
Tim Reaper is the real deal.
Really enjoyed Tims selection. It was cool to hear some of the earlier stuff like the Mickey Finn track with the 4/4 kick - when I got into Jungle and drum and bass around 94-95 it was moving so fast that stuff from 6 months ago was kind of dated so it's great to look back all these years later and get to search out stuff we all missed. These were all really great tunes - thanks Tim!
Rate tune!
This guy and his label keeps jungle music alive and fresh
Yes Tim Reaper! Unexpected and appreciated ✌️
First time I've seen Tim Reaper in the flesh - nice to put a face to the name; big respects!! Loving the choices, you can see how the early or prototype Jungle/Hardcore tunes have influenced him and his tastes and his own productions over the years. Wicked!! Makes excellent throwback Jungle too. Great stuff :D
Big up the Tim Reaper every time!!
Top choices but to be expected from such a fine dj / producer in the underground modern jungle scene. I'm surprised I only recognised one. Or maybe not considering the selector. Big up Tim Reaper! 🔥🔥👍
That's a great selection! Made some very nice discoveries. Thanks!
Awesome video! Love it. Big ups Tim, hope to see you back on the channel for some further jungle knowledge.
Can’t thank you enough for this...
Glad you rated Eclipse. Underrated i always thought. Adam F had some nice gems on Deep Jungle as well.
Tim is an absolute capo. Long live Jungle. >:)
Jungle never dies !!!!
That Synthetics track is a BEAST!
MORE JUNGLE! MORE DRUM'N'BASS! You're on the right path TEB!
Tim is a legend and a Squire. Bigups!
Reality is very underrated...... Great selections mate!

Man I love Scythe!
Mickey finn reality is a top choice too, got that on vinyl myself. Always used to like hearing it out.
Limited E label made me click this - feel like they / Ibiza kind of overlooked in jungle history. I know Paul has revived the brand again now, new stuff and re-releases. I ain't parting with my scratched copies just yet
do not judge a blue book by its cover :)
Serious business
Yeeeesssss
Moooooorrrrreeeeeeeeee pleeeeeaaaaseee!!!!!!!!
I didn't realise they had milk floats in the 1680's!
GOAT
Used to play the shit out of an old swanee mix with the first track on it. The way he cuts in the let's go sample was pukka.
Geez!
Best episode yet. What plant is that anyone? Could do with one near my dex
"id on the plant?" It's called the swiss cheese plant lol
@@flower-ld5id cheers. Just had a look, they don’t go cheap but look amazing
I have bundles of these tracks what do i do with them 🙂
"Not Sacha Baron Cohen" LOL
Jheeze
Not a fan of Drum N' Bass but it is cool to hear such selection.
8:08 minutes long.
Good tunes. what about shoe on head remix?
That W. Wilson track 'The Juice' sounds like Babylon Timewarp's 'Durban Poison'.

Best b side ever was on an Ashanti record. Boy you got to me, dnd did the bassline remix. No one expected it on there and in my experience in influence a lot of people into a new scene.

Que des trucs introuvables ou alors peau duc...
Заебись... Хорошая музыка на виниле... Кроме туповатого детского рэпа ничего на ютубе нет в последнее время
I hate it when I cant find those tunes on spotify
CZcams premium is the way forward
A record collection is the way forward.
Fella has a bike park in his living room, he dries his clothes next to it
and?
@@isobel64 what are you? His landlord?
Funnily enough it‘s not his place.
@@ElectronicBeatsTV the plot thickens, we may never know if he lives in a velodrome or not
I say, what a frightful rungleclotted mashup bizniz that is.
I noticed people be cheating on this show... The show is called favorite Bsides.. the b side is the side with the writing.. if they put the record down and it's side with artwork up. ladies and gents they are cheating..
😂
