Have found a 15degrees 45mm aluminium pipe which would straighten the tail fin, cause it looks wrong pointing down

Hey Wire brigade, I don't soppose you send me the link for thoughts springs as I've brought the same turbine, could put a shackle on the bottom to give you 10mm 15mm if blade vibration starts

I get them from Lee Spring online. Part number LE 112G 08 S (£12 each). We are in an extremely windy location next to the sea in Orkney. The turbine tilts back far too much and looses power. We have a 3 blade version and will be fitting 90cm blades instead of the stock 107cm blades and reducing tower down to 4M to stop it tilting as much. we will loose power but I am willing to do that vs changing springs regular and burning out the slip rings that are also a problem on these units. Istabreeze unfortunately don't give very good after sales so we are trying these mods as they state 'our products are perfect' so not much help. if you are not in an extreme for wind then they are good units. last week we had 95mph winds.

@@wirebrigade4306 Great thanks for that, yes that 170mm less radius, no 340mm ! Would be less levarge on the tilt, so I'm Cornwall, and we had 80mph after the named storm came, storm with no name ! I have south too west the Antarctic and north east too south clean ish air not for a few 100m, like the idea of just buy a tower scaffold to do maintenance.

I bought 12x 7.2M lamp posts at an auction that tilt so can get them up and down easily on my own. base has a tube with 9 tonnes of concrete and I can drop the post straight in.

Wow, that is heavy duty, I didn't think of a lamp post, genius. I'm doing a sort of permanent scafold half a tower and winch point. Got the i700 and thought to swop out to 2000w generator £500ish 48v charger £350 but brought the hole kit including the tower £1100, so concreting it in in the next few days with threaded bar in it.

So big bugger, need another £300 of scaffold tube and some clips, alternative for now, take the 12v 700w generator off of the body and put the 2000w generator on the istabreeze 12v 700w body, it's on a ac 32amp flexible cable, would need bolt extention and 100mm 6m threaded bar, on a 48mm tube ! Or do I stick with it charging my 12.8v 200ah lifpo and dump loading it into the 48v 14.400kw seplos battery at 300w, it can keep up with my demand, it just doesn't top float the 48v battery.
