- If you don't have a Scan n Cut you can cut the stickers by hand. I am using this matte vinyl sticker paper from Amazon: amzn.to/3Yh5hWy
There are cheaper options but this is the only one I have used.
I found glossy paper as well, this has good reviews but I have not personally tried it: amzn.to/47dsuND

You can use whatever inkjet printer you have.
I am cutting mine out with a Brother Scan n Cut. I have a CM350 ut it is older and I think discontinued. Here are the newer models: amzn.to/3rW3SJb
If you have another brand of die cutter you might be able to cut your stickers out with your machine ad computer, I'm really only proficient with a scan n cut. You can cut these out just fine (and probably just as quickly) with scissors too.

I don't tend to think of "inkjet" and "waterproof" in the same sentence, so that was a pleasant surprise! Thank you for the review!
Glad it was helpful!
the material/adhesive is waterproof, like if the bottle has condensation or is washed, it won't peel off. you still need to laminate them to protect the ink.
Hi Lindsay! Thank you for always working hard to create interesting contents for us! Can I suggest doing a “what if I lost ALL my watercolor palettes, what five brands would you buy, high end and student grade”. Would love to know your choices!
Check out my ranking my watercolor video for that info: czcams.com/video/F7BVRQ7tLMc/video.html
Now there is a Making Sticker tutorial from Lindsay. I must say my life ist complete now! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Glad to see this tutorial; I have the same scan ‘n cut and have not used it much - seeing the process again is great! I’m helping my friend with some preps for the kindergarten class she teaches and I think I can make some cute things for her classroom.
Glad it was helpful!
This is so cool 😎! Love the stickers and although I don’t have the things to create these, I still enjoy seeing what can be done. Thank you for another fun video.
Thanks so much! 😊
Hullo Lindsay, A Wonderful video and explanation of stickers! I have no current planes to buy or make these, but it is nice to know a trusted artist that has done it! Thank You! They look very nice too! See ya next time.
Glad it was helpful!
I love this video. Your artwork is phenomenal. I have the scan n cut 2 CM350. It still works great as long as I can get mats. Thanks for the reminder on the underneath cleaning. Hi Ho hi Ho off to scan something I go.
Awesome! Thank you! That's the model I have. It usually scans better but it's usually in a dark cabinet and that helps I think.
I love Paint Shop Pro. It was my first editing software l could afford. Enjoyed the video!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank You for showing how to do this! I have the same Scan n Cut & never took it out of the box. I've been wanting to make stickers & you've inspired me to. get that thing out &. use it!!
Glad it was helpful!
Wow! I wish I could learn how to do all this! Thank you so much for showing the program and the scan and cut! Maybe someday!
You are so welcome!
I have an old ScanNCut. I agree that it has a hard time seeing the edges of things. I like the idea of adding colored pencil to some edges. I also notice that if I move my SNC around my dining table, I can get different results depending upon the light angle. I will definitely order this sticker paper. Thanks again for another informative video 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yes! It woks better in a dark cabinet!
I love my ScanNCut and it’s great to learn about a new use for it! I’ll have to check out that sticker paper.
I have wanted to make stickers for a long time for no reason other than I enjoy having stickers 😍 and now you have inspired me to bust out my sticker paper and Cameo and attempt it again 😆
You should!
Thank you Lindsay!
You are so welcome!
This is really cool. Might look into this.
Thank you, Lindsay. I like seeing this. I have both an older Scan N Cut as well as a Silhouette which can cut files you import, too. Thanks for the video.
Great tip!
Thanks for showing us how to use the Scan 'n Cut. I thought about buying one a while back, but didn't. The stickers are super cute! This machine would be great to have. 😁
You are so welcome!
Thank you. I enjoy seeing the editing and scan and cut.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks so muchfor testing out these stickers! I been wanting a waterproof version but didn't want to buy them and be disappointed on my budget😂 but I bought these the day you posted this video. Always know I can trust your opinion!
Glad I could help!
Hose sticker are adorable ❤
Love this! Would like to see more getting analog to digital.
you are so great at sharing your wonderful art ideas ,thank you i rubber stamp on sticker papers its fun
Wonderful!
These are so pretty Lindsay, have you considered selling them digitally on an Etsy shop or somewhere? I follow an artist who does just that, she sells the stickers around 2-3€ or something like that so they are pretty affordable and people can download them and print them themselves. That way she is getting money but the shop runs itself, she does not have to be posting anything or losing valuable creating time. I would suggest if you do that you make them in several sizes, those look a bit too big for use in Planners for example but would make great focal points in art journals. So a mix of different sizes and colours would be so nice.
Neat idea!
You can draw a dark outline just outside where you want the cutline, then give it a negative margin to cut inside the lines! Great technique when you have light edges.
That's a great idea!
This could work well for my husband's home brew bottles! I usually use the regular office supply sticker sheets, but I have to spray them with sealer so they don't run from bottle condensation. If I can use these and skip a step, that would be great!
It will be perfect for that!
This looks like so much fun!
This was interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
How fun!!
I have the original scan n cut, and I've just about given up on trying to scan and cut things, I just use it to cut letters out. Good to know yours is equally fussy. I didnt know about the cleaning bit on the bottom. I wonder if mine has that.
It will help! I use a lens cloth to clean mine.
Great project! Thanks for sharing! ❤❤❤
You are so welcome!
So pretty
Thanks!
Cool video, thanks for sharing❤
Thanks for watching!
Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
20 + years as a graphic designer and I've never heard anyone call a PNG a "ping" file. :)
No? Well, I am self taught 😆
this is fascinating 😊
Just the tutorial I wanted!! Thank you! Question - how do you get glimmer stickers or the ones with partial glitter?
You can get holographic sticker paper amzn.to/47iGzt4 or add some clear glitter nail polish to regular sticker think.
tfs!
Thanks for watching!
Somebody wants to give me a scan n cut CM100! Yay! But does it cut stickers like these? I can’t find info anywhere.
It should. I think that was the original model.
Can i ask, i see it has issues seeing the lighter colour pictures when scanning in.....can you not use the software on your computer to load the pictures to the cutting machine instead of scanning them
Say if you took a good quality photo with a camera of them and send the picture to the machine using the pc software
Like how you load pictures to a cricut machine?
I am asking as i wanted on brother machine and if it has issues scanning in ligher colour images then atleast you could load them via pc and the machine will then know where to cut
I don't use a computer with my scan n cut but you probably could.
It’s a popsicle umbrella!
😆
Which printer do you have? I’m trying to find one that can print on watercolor paper and has water resistant ink so I can watercolor or marker over top.
You want a Lazer printer. I have an Epson ink jet and it's only waterproof on this paper.
Is this easy to do on the circut? Thanks
I'm not sure, I am unfamiliar with their new machines and software.
Could you stamp on this paper and color the image? If yes which inks and mediums could be used?
I tried drawing on it and my waterbsed pen stopped working. I think the coating on the paper clogged it. I think you could stamp on the matte version but thr glossy stuff might stick to your stamps and ruin them (that happened to my on glosy photo paper and a clear stamp once) I think you could use paint or areal brush pens but nothing with a felt nib. I wouldn't risk a Copic on it either. That coating is a mystery.
Thank you so much for your response!! You are the best!!!!
ah seems more trouble than its worth if scanning items it will not always see them
inkjet vinyl sticker paper isnt actually waterproof. its water resistant like it says on the package. that means the ink will eventually come off over time. water also discolors the image rather quickly. if you want actual waterproof stickers, you can use a stick on laminate on top before cutting.
i run an etsy sticker shop and make all my own stickers at home.
Really? Good to know. Thanks for taking the time to comment:)
