I don't know how bad the situation is and although he may not have a career anymore, he can be forgiven and hopefully he can maintain a meaningful life with his family. So to protect themselves(Twitch) against it if it ever went public, they kept Doc banned. "But the NDA?!" The NDA is the biggest clue to figure out he didn't do anything wrong besides talking to other women behind his wife. NDAs are created as a means of settling an issue without damaging reputation. They all signed NDAs to never discuss the content of his ban to protect his reputation. And Doc signed it to never talk about the contents in order to avoid people questioning Twitch. Of Doc mentions ANYTHING regarding the case thst beings Twitch into question, it will breach the NDA, Doc could get sued for far more than what he got from his contract. This is why he has not clarified what happened in great detail, he's being very careful with his words. If anything, Twitch needs to come forward with a statement about how they let some nobody spill the beans of that case and screwed up Doc's rep and life currently. Some other details to show he's not a pedo-- 1) His wife has not left him. Keep in mind they have a DAUGHTER who was really young at the time. You didnt actually address the fact that he openly admitted to this on twitter. All you said was blah blah blah about the NDA and him choosing his words carefully. He literally outright said that there were dms with a minor thats content would border on inappropriate but he didnt have any real intentions. At that point, there is no way simply saying "I was not made aware that the idividual in question was a minor at first" would breach any sort of NDA he signed if saying the rest of that was fine. He directly spoke about the nature of the dms in question. Doc was going through a phase of riding the high his career was on and went into demon mode and was messaging everything and anything he could to get his rocks off. One happened to be a minor. Does that make him a predator? No. But he was definitely a addict. Since recovered, but still one none the less.

Glad you asked. Firstly, because twitch whisper couldnt be used by anyone under 18 at the time this all went down. Don't know about now cause I also left twitch.
Secondly, he was under contract with Twitch. When twitch banned him, it breached their contract illegally. If he had knowingly done something illegal, the court would've ruled in Twitch's favor and they would've been safe from a breach on contract. Instead, the court ruled he hadn't done anything illegal, the contract was upheld and they had to pay Doc his money per the contract.

This happened nearly 8 years ago. At the HEIGHT of the MeToo movement and "Believe all women," hashtags. Had this instance gone public, the Internet would've lashed out at Twitch. They would've lost millions more than they did paying out Doc and probably gone under. The Internet believes a bunch of dumb things, and this is one of those times. Twitter wouldve went crazy with saying twitch supports pedos and all kinds of dumb shit because the Internet only pays attention to the headlines instead of details. So to protect themselves(Twitch) against it if it ever went public, they kept Doc banned.

The NDA is the biggest clue to figure out he didn't do anything wrong besides talking to other women behind his wife. NDAs are created as a means of settling an issue without damaging reputation. They all signed NDAs to never discuss the content of his ban to protect his reputation. And Doc signed it to never talk about the contents in order to avoid people questioning Twitch. Of Doc mentions ANYTHING regarding the case thst beings Twitch into question, it will breach the NDA, Doc could get sued for far more than what he got from his contract. This is why he has not clarified what happened in great detail, he's being very careful with his words. If anything, Twitch needs to come forward with a statement about how they let some nobody spill the beans of that case and screwed up Doc's rep and life currently.
Some other details to show he's not a pedo--
1) His wife has not left him. Keep in mind they have a DAUGHTER who was really young at the time. Sorry, idk what mother woukd stay with a man who's a pedophile with a young female child.
2) He's not a registered sex offender, nor in jail.
3) Since this all happened, not a single soul has come out stating this also happened to them in the 8 years after the original case. This is important, as a high percentage of pedophiles are repeat offenders, and he hasn't repeated the instance. He learned from his mistake and hasn't done anything behind his wife's back again.
