Say what you want about Season 13 and Kelsey Ann Brady being cast as Crow, but the fact the revival series maintained the Cold War era humor of the original show warms my heart.
Except that it didn't. They have like 15 writers. Nothing feels like the show from the 90s or even the Mike era.

Used to be hilarious, now it's meh.
I find the 'new crew' unfunny. This new MST3K is lame, there's no real riffing, and I don't like Crow with a female voice. I don't know who these so called writers are, but "Hey, look at that guy!" is not a riff. Even with Mary Jo on the show (does she need the money?) it's not funny. And they will NEVER be funny. Thankfully we have The Mads and RiffTrax.
The genius of the original was how they were able to make every line sound improvised, as if they were seeing it for the first time, now it is overwritten and even if they get a good line in they sound too polished and rehearsed
