true and there appear to be a younger veliona in star rail with a different name i think her name was xueyi
she's a lot closer to GGZ Seele, especially the older fire moth version in which Veliona isn't a thing than she is to the mainline HI3 version.
though if Silverwolf Bronie/Bronya is anything to go by, there's no reason to count out another Seele alternate happening down the line

only in the beginning. Seele changed so much, very noticeable in later chapters especially current chapters. I was like who's this and what have you done with the childish voice Seele. Then I guess it's because the VA got used to voicing a mature Seele in HSR.

They really decided to use the Stigma of Serenity symbol to represent Quantum DMG. Mihoyo knows exactly what they're doing. And Imaginary... is a tree.

Quantum symbol is slightly different. The symbol on seele's chest is directly the stigma of the herrscher of death just like mei had the stigma of herrscher of thunder. Veliona also seems to be the remaining consciousness of the previous era Herrscher of death because she is the only person who could use abyss flower's power properly without being a scharic. Shigure kira couldn't really use it's powers properly.

**lonely tears, missing another part of Seele in Star Rail**
Honkai Star Rail is a completely different universe which has other versions of people such as Himeko , Seele and Bronya the Welt Yang we see in HSR is the one from APHO and the main story in Hi3 . In the background of Welt’s Splash art you can see the Void Archives in the back . In the alien space manga Welt is said to have been kidnapped by the Void Archives , the Void Archives later shows a young Himeko that is possibly the Himeko from HSR . I think HSR is set many years after Welt was kidnapped because the Himeko he saw was still young , as we can see now Himeko is a grown adult .
:0 this is some interesting backstory for Welt in HSR. Anything needed to know for someone who played a bit of chapter 01 in HI3rd. I tried to get into it but it to meh.
@Zephyr Welt also made a promise to HI3 Himeko's father that he would protect her. Unfortunately, he failed.
"Final Lesson" still gets me teared up, and it's one of the first (chapter 9) "major" events in HI3. I highly recommend that cutscene even if you haven't played HI3.
There's an argument that the trailer from hi3 was a concept trailer so we can't trust this

I really hope that we get some sort of story about Velonia in HSR besides the Easter egg with Seele’s eyes during her ult. Since Seele’s eyes already turn red, maybe the story could go along the lines of her protecting Bronya (in some way) and discovering Velonia by accident (possibly getting angry because Bronya was injured or something) and trying to understand/come to terms with another “personality” being hidden within her this whole time, learning more about Velonia along the way.
Idt we'll get that. This Seele doesn't have a split personality.
