i literally began to cry by the solo from Serbia nothing else in the universe touches me like his playing he plays the melody from my heart with the strings from my soul no words can say what RHCP means to me they save my life and my mind from bad influence over and over thank u sooooooooooooo much for just being who u are
I'm in a period right now where I'm playing a lot of complex and technical music and when I listen to this everything seems to make sense to me. This is all what music is about. John is still my hero, as he once was when I started play guitar seven years ago. He sings, talks, screams och cries through the guitar. I don't know if it because I have always liked him, but every time he play the guitar everything fall on its place. His tone is SO beautiful.
slane solo was great, learned to play it just because of its amazingness !, but there are other many great in this vid !, frusciante just nailed it when he went out of the cd version solo

Interesting how it’s progressed from mainly using triads and clean tone with the gretsch to lots of bends, vibrato & wah wah with the strat over the years
