Hello ! I don't know if you're talking specifically about the goth aesthetic, but you can be goth without the aesthetic. You don't have to dress up to be goth! however, if you were talking specifically about aesthetics, then you can set yourself up at home, and slowly build up the courage to go out in public! Go out with basic gothic makeup and gradually deepen it... don't be afraid to be yourself! Being goth also means facing many judgments from society.
What I did at first was go to far away grocery stores and shop around a bit to get used to it (I have horrible social anxiety) but it was actually fun and if you don’t like it , you’re in a place where no one knows you so you will never see any of those people again !
