Did these today instead of reverse fly machine. Really really feel the burn and pump in the rear delt. Best exercise I've ever done for isolating the rear delt, wow. I'll be doing these from now on
Jay is right, ive been doing this exercise for a few weeks and it's the best one for the rear delts (at least in my opinion). I used to do face pulls but I never really felt my rear delts a lot, just my traps, with rear delt cable fly it's the other way around, I feel my rear delts a lot
You just knew Jay and Ronnie was a huge rivalry when you saw only them doing certain movements and this was one of them. I never saw anyone else during their rivalry performing this movement

Just tried this after moderate weight rows with arm out far so it hits rear delts and REALLY felt it my new favorite rear delt. Front and side have gotten very nice but I look weird with puny rear delts Jay is the man.

Do you do them at the angle he is? It feels weird seeing a shoulder exercise involving pulling down so much instead of lifting up

I absolutely agree Jay. I love this movement for the rear delts. Cables are my go to for an all around shoulder workout.
Most fluent and smooth reps I find are on the cable machines. Dumb bells feel sloppy to me sometimes
