Saw this tour in 1987 West Palm Beach, Florida. Kyuss opened the show. These guys were on fire. One of the best concerts I ever seen. Still a huge fan in 2024.🤘
Rock music will never be cool like that ever again. The mid to late 80s best rock years ever in my opinion
I saw the same show in Rome, Italy. Great band! Thanks for posting
Much love and appreciation to The Cult. They are in a class by themselves... CFFC💙🧡💙🧡🔥🔥🔥🔥
This gig was the first time I saw the Cult live, during the beginning of Rain my mate managed to get on stage was was dragged off by security (unfortunately someone stands in front of the camera). It was a mad gig, this was in MARCH 1987. The gig they did in Manchester in November 87 blew this one out of the water. "Electric" was released a couple of weeks after this gig was filmed so a lot of the audience weren't that familiar with the new stuff.
Which was hands down their best imo. I have to say that it was awesome to hear the original "Peace Electric" release before they scrapped in favor of what would become "Electric".
I was at the Manchester gig, the crappy Apollo where we had to stand in our seated places, bullshit place, the seats have gone now. Was a good gig that i remember, So the Mission and PIL the same year, or there abouts. The Mission was good, got to the front when 1969 came on. Got hit by bouncer on the way. Was 17.
Amazing gig! I saw them many times, not on this tour unfortunately, but I saw them before and after, tons of times.
Best audience bootleg of The Cult by far.
I went to the NEC twice to see this concert in December 1987, aged 16, 1st concert was in the Forum, 2nd, 2 weeks later was in the main venue only using half with a standing area which I was in the middle of giving it some large........ Always remember Zap City being the first song.
Fun. Oh my my - that hair!!!! Love the audience banter -so electric!. So good. Thanks for sharing xxx
GREAT! Thanks for all the work you have done, to gave us this PIECE OF ROCK. PURE AND HEART. CULT.
cheers for this mate i saw them on this tour they were brilliant.....
this is brilliant ! Thank you !
The cult have developed a sound the no one can ever emulate. There sound is so unique. From new wave to amazing hard rock band.👍😈
Post Punk - Gothic Rock and then onto Americanised Rock. Never New Wave! How could you ever lump these with the likes of Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet The Human League? (as good as they all are in that Genre)
Thanks!!!!
Gotsta be givin' this a thumbs up. Thanks for the upload!
Really miss Jamie. So much energy on stage.
Billy's hair is BOMB !!! But it's Ian's legs for me 😊 If you've got um Show em !
Amazing
badass performance...CULTastic!❤⚡🎵🎶🎙🎸🥁🔝
Kid Chaos on Bass and Les Warner on the drums.
The guy that filmed this also filmed the Mission gig a day later. Would love to see a master transfer of that.
I love The Cult.
Perfect band 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
The guy who filmed this did many great shows before he got caught, ones I have include This Cult show, Def Leppard, Rush, Quo, all about eve, the mission, Bon Jovi, The Damned, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Kingdom Come and more. Selling bootleg videos in the very place he was filming was not a smart move.
i would love to speak with him. If you can connect us please do.
Which Def Leppard and Metallica and Maiden ones.I think I know the Bon Jovi show?
DEF LEPPARD, LIVE SHEFFIELD ARENA 24.06.92 PR 1ST GEN, DISTANT, 95MIN EX-VG 1581
METALLICA, LIVE SHEFFIELD ARENA 01.11.92 PR 1ST GEN, 173MIN VG/EX 1588
BON JOVI, LIVE SHEFFIELD CITY HALL 10.11.86 PR 1ST GEN, 87MIN EX 189
I will have to check my video tapes, DL and Metallica may have been filmed by another person. When I traded with people I had a habit of writing the filmers name on the tapes, because sometimes were were multiple cameras in an arena and this helped me know what filmers tapes I was dealing with. The numbers at the end of each recording are the video tape catalogue numbers, as I have over 2000 video tapes, numbering them all made it easy to find items in my collection, I did the same with my DVDs, though I never expected to end up with thousands of them as well. Im still cataloguing the DVDs even though I stopped all trading of any kind over ten years ago.
Fair play to him.
Was at this gig
I will always wonder what the Peace/ Electric album could have evolved into had they intercepted with Bob Rock. Rick Rubin told the members do you want to sound like a real rock band or an English band with long songs. I totally get that although the Peace tracks are more definitive to the signature sound. The band has said once doing an album there’s no looking back. They made a great raw album with this one & Ian’s singing balls too the floor delivered…🤔😎

SHEFFEILD Roxx !!!!!
Was at the Glasgow Barrowland gig of this tour where they had to turn that lighting rig off as the band were getting roasted as it was so low.
SET LIST PLEASE!!!
Fucking hell that was awesome..miss the 80's so bad it aint funny
Who else used this intro? Just the music in the beginning. Can't think what movie its from. I'll probably remember 5 mins after posting.
Apocalypse now
I prefer this great band and this kind of hard rock more rock than hard, than iron horrible maiden or at that time all this kind of band like the horrible judas priest by example....burk...!!! The Cult is the 'retour' of rock and roll...the real one....!!!

Billy looses his mind on big neon n hell ya to tha-
What's the name of the first song?
NIRVANA is the song
the only band of that era that has never wore spandex
WHAT!!! THIS IS THE ULTIMATE MASTER? THIS IS WORTHLESS CRAP! YOU MASTERED THIS? DON'T GIVE UP YOUR DAY JOB!
I was at this gig and, I'm afraid, it's every bit as bad as I remembered it. It's nothing compared to the Leadmill gig in '84 or the Octagon gig in '85. Electric was such a disappointing, dull album and then this gig was like pub metal. That was me out.
What a 🤡 you are. All their albums were fire, you simply don't get it. I’m quite sure you weren’t missed. 😂
