I store my jackstands behind my woodstove too. I know the feeling on the snow removal. I did it for 20 years. I still do it for myself and our shop but just had enough of doing it for other people and businesses. - Tim

I wish my furnace was thermostatically controlled. Mine always runs so it's 90° in here at all times😂😂 you have a very nice set up Matt. Some dream of having a set up like yours, I'm one of them 🍻❤️

Hey Matt, I use all my cut offs and uglies in my outdoor wood boiler. You can't beat being able to heat the house and garage with the scarp pieces from the bundle business.

      @lillysfarmfirewood  Před 6 měsíci +1

Hey! Yup this furnace just so happened to work out for me. Outdoor boiler would be amazing but my gas bill for the house is only 20 to 80 bucks a month with my wood stove.

I have the outdoor version of this brand-been running it since 2012 here in South Eastern side of Illinois.
I installed a couple inline centrifugal blowers to help push the air further into the house.
I have not ran my propane furnace full time since getting this unit-only had to replace the draft blower once and that was after about 10 years of use.

I have seen that one I thought that was what this was but it’s inside only. I feel like there’s no videos on the internet of them i only found one when I bought this one

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about not a lot of videos out there on these units other than promo videos. I was not really looking for anything in particular at the time-growing up we had a similar unit (Energy Mate) like yours inside our garage. My dad still had it in our old machine shed so I was in the process of cleaning it up and had plans to build a small shack around it. Also like yours, mine showed up at Menards out of the blue. I had considered making a video of mine but never got around to it. I still have the manual for it, it is a Shelter SF3042, made in Saint Louis, MO.@@lillysfarmfirewood

@danmeese2985 if you ever make a video of it let me know! Mine has been good but if I had it in the basement it would make me really nervous. So hard to control over fire

I have a furnace in my workshop that i pretty much can burn whatever i want in. Old hog of a thing but it keep my workshop at 23C due to specs of what i do in the shop i need it to keep steady temp. Wood. Oil. Diesel. Old rags. Cardboard boxes. It eats everything. Best part of it is that it burns really clean.

@@lillysfarmfirewood i own 500k Sqkm of property around the world. Where i heat any hunting location with only wood when needed. At home i have bout 10.000Sq km of land. And i own a few businesses. So i scrap lots of cables and gets lots of oil. And whenever we renovate a house or cut down branches or trees i use it in my workshop. So i keep the 1000Sqm with 6m height at a constant 23°C all year. Obviously i cut lots of firewood on the property and stuff and when people want me to saw some planks anything scrap from that goes right into the furnace. I love it. Burns clean. Nearly no visible smoke at all and it regulate oxygen with the pumps. So i dont have to baby it at night

If you can burn it, there might be 7 or nine people that would purchase it from you to burn also.
By installing a Geo Thermal heating and cooling system for your home and shop,
    You could sell 75%
Of your firewood to people within a 40 minute driving radius.

I was just curious to see if you're still satisfied with the stove thinking about getting one... There's so many choices out there I didn't think that was a very bad price.

For my shop it’s been great because it blows the air around. I don’t think I would buy it for the full price. I would buy a wood stove with a blower on it instead of the furnace

Ben thinking about a wood furnace for our shop . How long of a burn time do ya get outa a full load of wood if it’s say 30 degrees outside

4 or 5 hours I would say. At 6 or 7 hours it will still be lit but just not putting out much heat.
