Thanks for the review. I also own both of these. Well actually my C5 tactical isn't solar. I got it before they came out with the solar version. Solar is nice! I also got the premium bracelets. Both watches look great and feel high quality. I wear them to work and also casually. I'm rougher on the D4 Meridian than the C5 because I am a little worried about scratching up the PVD coating on the C5, although I've had no issues with the PVD coating at all. Although I have a medium size wrist (7.5 in) I really like the 38 mm size of the D4 Meridian. The 40 mm C5 tactical also wears great too. Also agree the bracelets are not easy to install. Also, the lume on both is super strong, which is really nice.
The video states at the 35 second mark that 6 hours of sunlight will give it about 6 hours of power reserve. However, Vaer states that this amount of sunlight will give about 6 months of power. Did Mr. Cheng misstate this, or did Vaer?

oh yeah sorry i made a mistake, its supposed to be 6hours of sunlight = 6 months!
