    Watching now, you should reach out to local arbours and ask them for woodchips. They are free, and make great pathways! 👍

    Good evening Luc, you certainly earn my admiration with how much thought you put in what you do, from driving over what’s spread to add compaction while you are traveling anyway, to taking the time to make a multiple point turn to save wear on the front end and tires. I can’t say the same for my self, I know I can be hard on equipment but at least I can tell you that the kubotas can handle a good beating lol! Lots of rain here too,ready to cut some hay just waiting for the weather to cooperate.

    Doesn’t look like 17 tons …. But it feels like 17 tons when you try to get a scoop with a BX 😂 Amazing the weight of that stuff! Nice project Luc!!

    why are you only taking half buckets ?

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  Před 5 měsíci

      I guess lack of experience and I noticed when I loaded the bucket the tires would squat so I didn’t want to break anything. I didn’t mind since it meant I spent more time on the tractor 😉😂👍🏻👍🏻

      I switched from the R4 industrial to the Carlisle Versa Turf. They’re similar to the R14. Thanks for watching 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♂️🙂

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  Před 3 lety +1

    Nice tractor work. But why did you cover that nice nature trail with gravel??

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  Před 2 lety

      It made the trail flatter/even and easier for the grandkids to use their little battery operated tractors. We’ve been here 22years and making the trail has changed the look of the property, we love it. Thanks for asking and have a great week 🙋🏼‍♂️👍🏻🙂

    Good video. Question: is that gravel called 3/8” crushed gravel? I’m looking for something similar for my trail. How much is a ton for your gravel material? Thanks.

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  Před rokem +1

      In my area it’s called 0-3/4” gravel, it includes a mix of gravel but not bigger than 3/4”, it compacts very well. I think I paid less than $400 canadian for 15 Tons. Last summer I called to get another load and it was up to $680. Have a great weekend 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♂️🙂
