Omg your moms voice is PERFECT for this song. Like absolutely PERFECTLY matches this song. It's hard to cover this song correctly because of the original artists unique sound in her voice. And your mom does an AMAZING job.

I don't understand how anyone could dislike this-- there's so much love in this song.
Firstly, I will admit that the talent is sub par compared to his normal content, but that's not what this song is about. It's not the first time that the message and meaning is more powerful than the execution of a song.
Secondly, the intimacy between a child and his or her parent, in my part of the world anyways, is a commonality. Showing love between parent and child has become non-existent in many societies (many of which are based in the US). Please be open to the fact that some people still show love in this way.

Hearing you both sing this really made me look at this song in a different way. I feel that this song was written for a mother and son to perform to each other. While there is no beating the original, this was simply amazing. Hats off to you both.
