Magnificent rendition: this one to me is a true revelation. Maestro Gergiev has that musical gift of instinct & intuition to recreate a masterpiece in a new way while respecting its structure. Thank you for sharing this magnificent video.
迫力というか、土俗的な力強さでは最高の演奏ですね。最後の最後はタイミングが揃っていないけど、ライブ的にはかえって異様な迫力につながっている。ロシアのオケだけがなしえる世界。
サントリーホールでは無くてＮＨＫホールですね。

What happened at the end? Big pause before last chord ( longer than normal by a mile ) - some string players couldn’t hold off, came in early. Giergev looked pissed off.

Bad man, Poetin friend
Awful choice of camera angles. They miss all of the drama and uniqueness of the piece. The crotales, the guiro, the massive gong strikes, the Wagner tubas; all completely hidden from view.

ウィキペディアさんにホールの施工や設計背景の概要まとめてあるのいいよね。
ドイツのアレは、国連機関の要職と絡んだ韓国利権との背景があまりにもドロドロぽかったけど、芸術の歴史はいつもパトロンとかプロパガンダと切り離しにくい。
宗教音楽、民族音楽、集団をまとめる一体感醸成のツールの一つだったし
writeの語源を考えたとき、調べる前に真っ先に思いついたこの曲。
どうせ今ググって調べても、誤導入った検索結果しか出てこないだろうなおもたから、過去の自分の蓄積から規則性を自分なりに見つけてから調べた方が効率よく腑に落ちる自分なりの解釈に辿りつけそう。
