IPOB totally misjudged Igbo people. Because we sat at home on May 30th to honor Biafran dead heroes, IPOB thought they were greater than Igbo people. I regret that Nnamdi Kanu was unwise to allow his ego lead him into direct confrontation with Igbo interest in his arrogance that May 30th was done to obey his "order" and not really to honor BIAFRAN DEAD. Even General Odimegwu Ojukwu warned that he is massively supported in Biafran land because he is a servant of the peoples' wishes. The day he dares to go against the people's wish, they would drop him and find another leader. This saying of Ojukwu was disregarded by Nnamdi Kanu because he thought he had all the wisdom to tell the people what to do and how to do it. Igbos want Biafra, but not to substitute one dictatorial regime in Nigeria for another dictatorship in Biafra. The worst was that the IPOB are so terrified to confront Burutai and Buhari that have actually ordered the massacre of it's members. Instead, they are blaming a powerless governor and traditional rulers, simply because they are Igbo and they know they don't have powers to hurt IPOB unlike Burutai and Buhari. Why did Nnamdi Kanu fall into the temptation of forming Biafra Security Service? Even if he wanted such organization to manage his security, he could have done it in utmost secrecy. Of course, the murderous Nigerian state will claim that BSS is an armed wing of IPOB. Even if you wanted to do armed struggle, you can borrow a leaf from the Niger Delta militants and do a discreet insurgency to stop oil export from Biafra land. Once you cut down oil production significantly, the FG will listen to your grievance. Obiano had been doing marvelously well and every Anambrarian begged Nnamdi Kanu to allow good governance to continue in Anambra for the sake of developing the state and he arrogantly refused to listen. Now that he succeeded in losing the support of many Igbo people, he has made the Biafran agitation more difficult out of thoughtless intransigence. I hope IPOB tows a more conciliatory line and work towards regaining the people's trust and how to consider the wishes of the people.
