- With the release of major update 0.5.0, there are a ton of new features to check out in Deadside, and I have been streaming as much as I can to enjoy the wipe day insanity. While things like boats, economy reworks, water wells, and all that are nice, nothing beats some good old early wipe PvP fun

Can’t wait for an AI update, a quest system/faction system, and cars. Slowly but surely this game is getting there. This is gonna blow rust outta the water when it’s done.

I really want ai to be updated, the fact that ai is scarier than actual players just doesn’t feel right
This will never match rust lmao a game that barely breaks 300 daily players will not be on par with a game that averages 100,000 players daily on steam alone.

My friends and I have been playing this game for a couple years now and love to come back to find the new additions. Seriously, thank you for continually updating the game, we love playing it. The boats and base building are amazing additions, although we would love to see more modes of transportation, whether it be cars, hangliders, parachutes, etc. Also adding more variety in mission types would be nice as well. Maybe like a hostage extraction type of game mode would be cool, esc. Excited to see what this game becomes. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK LOAF & DEADSIDE TEAM

Deadside should add wipes imo. Really enjoyed wipeday.
That's what community servers are for, we wipe a lot more frequently than official servers, usually every 2 months or so
Weekly servers would probably blow up on this, or just monthly
Hello Loaf, nice vid. I play PVE servers and am finding it really hard to find a 4x scope of any kind. Done up to medium missions and several Heli sites but no luck.Are they only available on covoy's? Catch 22 really with taking on convoy's on your own with a 2x. Thanks.
Yeah they removed the scopes and sights from safe zone for absolutely no reason other than to annoy everyone

Game is getting better. However the gun play feels very clunky like an older version of DayZ. Moving while ADS'ing really needs to be tweaked lol.
+ bringing back all 1x magnification scopes to the safe zone traders I believe would be a positive move.
how do you get good scopes? x3.5-x4.5? did heli, only some better guns did hard mission also no scope for sniper... which is best place? bunker? convoy (which is wildly difficult without such scope) buying not possible? thanks?

sound audio needs to be fixed in game though for hot fix. can barely hear footsteps
Does the new bunker complex have bunker crates?
I feel the game really needs a weapon animation, recoil and optics update. The gunplay just needs to be all around upgraded in its current state. If the devs can get it to like an Insurgency Sandstorm level it would be amazing.

My ping has been going crazy since the update
update is very disapointing.. we waited so long for th enew part of the map and what we got seems so unfinished... please give more love to the map, add more interesting spots to discover... caves, bunkers, camps, maybe an airplane crash or a big oil tanker in the water... we need some activity at the map, for example to activate the entry to a big bunker, we need to find part to powerup a big elevator or gate to open it.. make the cities and villages bigger
Explosives are now to easy to make, should consume the electronics kit or require batteries.

Where are the sights and scopes gone? No one wears armour. No one wears helmets. Game has changed so much. And I bet no one buys drinks? 6000 for one can that doesn’t even fill up 20% lol

i just have one question loaf. If i play ur sever am i gonna absolutely harassed just for being good at the game? for pretty much 200 hrs of my game play is getting banned by corrupt admins imo that’s what makes deadside boring when u just get banned all the time for no reason legit last night i got banned cuz i was talking to people in sz like please tell me what i’m doing wrong
As long as you follow the server rules you shouldn't have an issue, we definitely don't ban people for being good at the game, I've actually made some of the best players around server staff

cant join the server if you have one ban on record. even if its a year old. pretty trash seems how ppl can get banned for things other than cheating.
I am happy,but the Performance is very bad.
Huge stuttering and al lot of leggs.
I tried the new uptate for an hour...then i uninstalled it...the AI is so fuking annoying...they can see you from miles away even when you are crouch. And the movement is to fast. This game needs to have inertia.
Wrong opinion
This latest update is absolute trash. Food is so expensive, you literally can't afford to buy it starting out. The AI are still ridiculously broken, and now you can't buy sights without going to a trader and risking your life.
Oh, and Loaf encourages players to cheat in his Deadside server, by using monitor crosshairs and ESP, puts 100% faith in the anti-cheat and rarely investigates anything but safezone camping.

The gunplay and pvp used to be the reason I played this game the updates are good in every way except the guns each update the guns get harder to use! LAME look at rust the took the recoil and made is simpler so new players could play the game! Dead side had this down guns where simple and easy to use for new players and high skill players! I can’t stand random recoil and high recoil if you are going to use high recoil have a spray pattern if random keep recoil low! I used to kill 3 man teams solo but now clans are more powerful than they have ever been due to high random recoil there is no spay transfer from one enemy to the next! Like I said the game gunplay used to be fun an exciting now you can’t spray transfer and you gun jam all the time unless you have a perfect health gun! The updates just get worse and worse for guns and gun play I have almost 1000hrs and have been playing from day one it’s sad to watch you altime favorite game go to the least often played in your library
