Dang, that would be beautiful! Maybe nature could be his therapist.
:( the problem is that high intelligence and depression/mental health issues are correlated. Turns out, the more you understand the world, the more depressing you find it.
I'd love it, though, if through being near animals, he would find a reason to be happy, purpose in being kind, and then could in turn spread that to all of humanity. 🥲🥲🥲

Omg, I used to feel like this a lot when I was younger, through my early 20s. I articulated to one of my friends in college as I didn't want to touch or hug people because my emotions were so negative, deeply sad, and heavy (undiagnosed major depressive disorder and GAD) that I thought they'd transfer to those around me. Horrible feeling.
