Just to let you know, you can get the running lights and turn signals under the dash. Also not all, but some, of the trucks have the reverse light wire in the convenience center under the driver side dash (used with the auto dimming mirrors) and that's where I tapped my reverse wire.
Daniel Pace Unfortunately I didn't have the dedicated reverse wire under the dash, and I just found it easier on my back to use the wires under the hood rather than under the colum haha
True. And honestly, I used the wires under the hood also. Didn't feel like going under the dash at the time.

Do these mirrors still have the option to use the electric mirror cables? For example, to adjust the direction the mirror faces , left, right,up, or down.

I just received mine and there power mirrors so you can adjust the glass with your switch and it only works when you move the switch down it doesn't on left or right or up you think k the mirrors are bad?
Can I hook up reverse lights up like you and also hook them up as curtosy lights when I open my door...
So is your white wire tied into your reverse wire..

Yeah it is! I have those same exact tow mirrors and the reverse lights are pretty bright. You'll like it! Take a shot at it

How do separate the running lights and blinkers?
Hey I realize this post is from 7 years ago but figured I’d try anyway!! Did you have to drill new holes in your door for top mounting bolt to go through?
The mirrors I got were bolt in, back then I definitely wouldn't have had the stomach to drill a hole in the door lol
So I was sent the wrong mirrors and just got the right ones. There installed on the Hoe now. I wanna change the wiring so I have the running lights like you did but am not sure how you got to the wiring? Does the glass just pull out for access? Thanks again

How did you take the mirror off without cracking to wire for runninglights
It all depends on the quality of the mirrors, with aftermarket ones it's hit or miss
Also how did you run the front lights for running

Tie it in to the door jam switch for the interior door lights and they will turn on when you open the door and off when you close the door

Where did you purchase the mirrors? Ive heard there a lot of cheaply made Chinese ones that don't last long.
The best ones are made by Boost Auto Parts. I JUST ordered mine today for my '98. Ive heard really good reviews from them. They're expensive, though, minimum $225 and more for the other options.
Did they bolt in ok? I have a 96 and i wanna throw some just like that on it
These bolted in perfect for me, but I don't know that they'd fit the mid size trucks without modifying the door.
If I remember right the doors are the same, my passenger side door is off a 94 c10

CopperK2 + do you know of any other mirrors that'll fit on these trucks, because in my opinion this type of mirror is good on 4x4 trucks but my truck is more towards the sport truck look so he wouldn't look right with it

Do your mirrors fold in completely so almost touching window? The ones I just received DO NOT. Which is not good for pulling in garage. They do however fold completely flat forward (towards the hood). Maybe mine were build backwards? Also looks like led mirror lights are mounted off from holes on glass. May need to return these...
PowerPC I've never tried folding mine in but all my leds line up like they're supposed to

How did you wire the internals of the mirrors to separate the running light in the front while still retaining it at as turn signal? I thought I wired mine right but the turn signal is so faint when the running lights are on. Any help would be appreciated! Subbed to see more!

What gauge wire did you use?
Victor Allen I used 16G wire but 18G is as small as I would go
