Yes you can buy from the grey market. I bought it from leadoff. I bought when the face value was 10. It has already split 1:8. Thats why the face value is showing as 2.

Actually PE ratio is nothing but Market Price per Share ÷ Earnings per Share. Once we know the EPS and prevalent PE Ratio, we can arrive at the Actual Market Price per share. This actual market price if higher than the Theoretical price, then the share is said to be overpriced. If the actual market price is less than the theoretical price, then it is said to be underpriced. Without any point of reference, according to my understanding, it is difficult to say whether a stock is overpriced or underpriced. Need to follow a particular stock day-in and day-out for which both knowledge and time are both real constraints Sis.

There is a correction. Those investors who have held Tata Motors or Tata Motors DVR shares on 13th November can apply in the following categories: Shareholder + Retail (or) Shareholder + HNI (Small) (or) Shareholder + HNI. Correct me if I am wrong. You have mentioned DVR share holders are not eligible for applying in share holder category.

Valuation at upper band (i.e. 500/-) is well understood. But, GMP is very high. Listing will be at different valuation. So, those who will get shares in IPO are going to be very lucky. Good luck, to all. And yes.... let the RR car exist some day !!! ha ha ha...

Tomorrow payroll deparrtment of tata, HR department of Tata, finance department, internal audit etc. all become independent companies, how they will create profit and value for customer, unless they compete in the market and get their revenue from customer other than the parent company???
