Just got me a 572 last weekend. I watched a lot of your vids on it. Not disappointed. Out here in placerville CA we got a lot of big pine oak and madrone. My 460 rancher was a nice saw but that 572 blows it away. A lot less work on my body while cutting. That 572 is no joke, came with a 32" full skip square chiseled chain. Kinda front heavy. Gonna put a 28 lightweight bar on it and let it rip. Don't work to hard. Thanks for the detailed videos and "recommendation" if you truly love your job its not work. Nothin better than a Saturday full of power saws and burn piles out here in the woods.

Another top video Tim. 👍👍 Lots of excellent tips on how to cut up a blowdown. I have over 200 Blowdowns to process and l have learnt so much from watching this video. Your videos are so interesting, informative, educational and full of lifesaving safety tips. “You’re the man”. Thanks so much for all the time and effort that you and your helpers put into each and every video that you guys & gals do. I share many of your videos to others that l show how to process/cut-up timber and most importantly, how to do it all...safely. Brian, from Australia.👍👍🇦🇺🦘

I was doing this kind of work today with a good sized oak as well. I'm a professional but kind of new to this work. I'm glad to see even people with experience pinch the bar sometimes while cutting a big tree under tension. Today i had to get my Stihl unstuck with my little Echo saw. Was happy that the bar didn't get bent cause it was under a lot of weight.

Yes you need the 562xp. I have one it’s probably the best saw I have ran and the power to weight ratio is awesome. I run a 24 inch bar with a full wrap handle. It’s a sweet set up. But I still love my 372xp!! Hopefully husqvarna sends you a 562 and can’t wait to see your review on it. Great videos Tim!

Wow, that poison ivy was nearly a tree in itself. Love to watch how to dive into the big trees with these saws and it sure was great to hear your comment on the 562. I have one and was wondering how it stacks up to the 550 and 572. I got it because looking at the specs I found it to be exactly what you said.... according to the specs...pound for pound, it had the most power to weight ratio.

    "MAN Tim"
I believe In the right tool tools for the job is #1 .
Easier on your body and power to weight ration*You appreciate a brilliant mind*
I would use two saws .
For the top stuff a 12 inch bar or 14.
It zips through the smaller stuff.
    Then the trunk 20 inch.
"I had alot of practice" @ my age i know better...stay safe look after the back .
Cool vid Tim from another taitor .

To keep the pressure building in your gas can I loosen the spout enough tsp the air can escape till I go to use it. Especially if it is in the sun. You just have to remember to tighten it back up before you gas up.

Do y ever come across any spaghetti oak? Man let me know my brother I will come out to ya and get it or do whatever you need me to do brother . I hope you all are making it through y corona virus and all is well. It just about shut me down for good I was watching disappear. I waited 9 weeks for some assistance through y SBA . But let me know next time if you run up on some crazy pieces that otherwise would be left behind or dumped off any other time I would greatly appreciate it stay safe my brother talk with you soon

Can't beat a sharp chain, logger I worked with said chains are cheap saws, gas and time are expensive, give it a lick with each tank. Yep, pace me off 25 feet, snap it up and drop that on my trailer, I'll put the stake sides on ;) Is that poison ivy all over that trunk? Aww hell you answered that one, that stuff sucks.

Someone said the new Huskvarna saws over heat in hot weather conditions. I need a new model for big wood. My 034 av is getting old. Any advice from a professional wld be appreciated.

They did when they first came out and that was the early 562s but that has been taken care of years ago. So I’d go with a 562 or 572 can’t go wrong with either.

Funny everyone says your such a professional... you bog your saws Down which starves the chain for oil cause it’s not running at full Rpms plus it cuts a lot faster if u just keep Rpms up rather forcing it through he wood.....I’m curious on how his chaps and other apparel are never dirty and always new rather used and abused like my garments after the first day or two....... you can look good damn good when saw companies just hand you anything you want why not look as if it’s what you do and get dirty and be authentic and quit being so damn official and that saw gonna get you one of these times throwing it around carelessly and Using is as a bush hog the way you do.... only takes a split second... I thought I was invincible with a saw once too!!!

I find the gas nozzle remains a crisp delivery. But the auto shut-off oil gums up after awhile. So I’ve gone to the free flow oil nozzle, that is also supplied with the can. Other than that slight glitch, I’ve been using those combi cans since it came out. Still have my original Husky combi can but I prefer the present design, means I can carry my sharping kit and a spare chain in one place.
I know what you mean about the pressure buildup in a sunny day. Best way I’ve found, is to the give the nozzle a quick twist while the can is still upright, as if I was going to remove it, then tighten it up again. That seems to relieve enough pressure, so it doesn’t spray gas everywhere.
