    My FPV bag is the absolute best of all time. It holds FPV gear for flying days, but will also hold rock climbing gear when necessary. It protects my lunch on the way to work too.
    Best of all, every time I buy groceries I get ten more

    Great review. A little big for my park trips though. Love to see the review of the smaller Urban bag as that's more suitable for us park flyers.

    You know, I sometimes wish that FPV backpack manufacturers would acknowledge that people also want to carry non-FPV related stuff in their bags. Like water. That mesh pocket doesn't look big enough to comfortably hold a nalgene.

    Awesome review as always Tommy. Question, is the moongoat your new default frame? Is the remix retired?

    Great view. Are the sides of the bag soft or do they have some protection.

    Best backpack ever is made from tasmanian tiger. They are way more modular then every regulary fpv backpack. I use 1 backpack for everything, work, fpv, outdoor ...
    I just have to swap the inserts and that's done in a second ^^

    I use the new Torvol lipo bag for my messenger bag that i use for quads, no need for a hualking backpack.

  • @user-lu2cy9xv2z
    @user-lu2cy9xv2z Před 2 lety +1

    very stupid orientation of pockets. Why should I open 2 zippers to get googles, radio and lipos when I could just open 1 and get all the staff out. For now I'm not disappointed that I ordered auline backpack... The only thing that a little bit disappointing for me is that there are now backpacks to put inside 5 inch drone. My dream backpack is lowepro bp x2 or x3... but lowepro is not going to produce it anymore😭

    Good review but I don't like pouches velcroed to the outside. Makes them easy targets. I'd hate to lose GoPros that way.

    I prefer my ThinkTank FPV Airport Helipak : only one main zipper to open and everything is available. This one has too many zippers 😅😅😅

  • @user-vr1qv6qe7f
    @user-vr1qv6qe7f Před 2 lety

    There's not enough difference to be like $160 vs the $88 of the urban. The only thing they needed to do was add the ability to hang more than 1 drone on the urban and not raise price. The prices of bags is kinda ridiculous lol.

    This isn’t a criticism of your video or review. Just my feedback on the bag design.
    I’ve had close to 50 backpacks in my life and still rotate through multiple bags as an adult. Yes I am that uncool hipster that wears a backpack on the daily. So I have the experience to see through bad design.
    This bag is a hard miss.
    Stylewise, it’s a Timbuk style bag, but 5 years late. Still has street cred. I get that.
    Why this is a complete failure of a bag is the loading ergonomics and accessibility.
    I’ve had top flap style bags before and it’s an extra slow step to remove the flap just to access the zipper. Torvol exacerbated that by adding an extra tri buckle. So now it’s two extra latches to undo and move out of the way before you access the main zipper. If you’ve never owned this style of bag before, it may not sound like much, but trust me doing it every single time gets aggravating.
    Loading ergonomics is poor. This is fine for larger people and/or lighter loads. But generally you want the load to be low and close to your hip as possible. The placement of the radio and DJI on top, just doesn’t make sense.
    The execution of the molly attachment points and accessories is also poorly done. That tool pouch is bulky for what it holds, you’re literally increasing the volume by 500%. I care about space efficiency, so it’s a hard pass on their accessories. As mentioned in your video I would recommend people to look into US made molle accessories.
    Overall rating: 3/10. I personally wouldn’t use it since it only hinders my workflow instead on enabling it.

    Quad specific bags are way overpriced. I got a Manfrotto D1 for $99 and it’s perfect. Fits my 5” and 3” inside with props along with goggles and radio, has removable pouches for gear and looks great. I carry a LiPo bag outside the pack.

      Don't laugh at me, my daily fpv backpack was 14€ off eBay. Not that Photo stuff style but fully 180° opening. So far satisfied with it.
