The settings are able to be changed in the astro program to any custom settings. I like these for music and videos and such. Games with heavy bass ques for footsteps and to be able to hear movement in shooting games I like the zalias? cod competition settings. It's been a while since I've edited mine but I still have this one as my second setting for general purpose use.

Nice work man. I've been testing a lot with EQ settings + dolby settings (on and off) in the last couple of weeks, but yours really stand out. I play mostly warzone with this and boy can I hear footsteps :). The gun sound is a bit metallic which is less 'explosive' so again, perfect for footsteps and directional sounds of gunfire. One slight remark, for your dolby settings it might be handy to count the number of ticks up / down for each frequency. I saw this in a couple of other sound guides where they were also playing around with dolby settings. Thanks again and keep it up!

Yoo brother loved the video been using all your setups! Had a quick question. Do you have to always reconnect your Dolby atoms app when you shit your pc down and turn it back on? For me, I have to go back into the app and on products it detects as if I have never set up my headphones before when I have multiple times. Lmk!
Been using this exact EQ settings for a few months now and this is indeed the best settings. Honestly have tried a bunch of others, but this is the best sounding.
The Microsoft store, it's a free app. It will give you a free trial to test it then its 14 dollars to buy it on your account permanently. One time payment basically
I was bout to send the A50s back. Been using Audeze Mobius, but wish it was wireless. Got a50's and they sounded like crap. They sound pretty decent after this EQ update. Not as good as Mobius, but might be a worthy trade off for wireless now that they don't sound like crap any more. Thanks man.

your version of the the astro settings is decent but, i wasn't sure if it was better than the astro preset which is my favorite. I got a dolby access trial then i copied your settings there i felt like the quality dropped like a rock. however you led me to dolby access which the warm presets are amazing af so trying to jury rig to see if i can fenagle something better but the warm presets for music is probably the best quality i have ever heard idk so ty for getting me to try dolby access
Yeah agreed the astro settings i noticed a huge improvemnt then copied the dolby and it was worse than the defult for me. I wish the EQ adjustment on dolby was number based cause we cant get it eactly
Excellent. Thank you. Much better sound. Although I had to do the Dolby Atmos settings slightly different. But that's just preference. And i'm finally able to use the dolby button on my headset, cause before that it just sounded very odd.

I struggle with voice over game..you can click on the right side, I can never quit get to that sweet spot where I can hear my team mates and at the same time pick up on footsteps. Hope your settings help out. Going to give it a try!

I find for the best sound I keep dolby on, it can only make everything sound better. It is very easy to switch off if you just right click your windows volume icon. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch!

Thanks so much for the comment. If you want to hear footsteps better, try changing one of the EQ bars on Astro Command Center to 2000hz and turn that bar up to +4. This may slightly affect clarity on other programs but should definitely boost footsteps more. Hope this helps!
Hello, do you know how to make one of these to hear PUBG's footsteps, because when I make the noise of the shots they always get loud too? in normal headphones you move something and it leaves the steps high and the shots low in windows itself. good video.
I found a picture of the frequency response of the a50 4th gen, It is bass heavy, mids and highs are scooped out heavily, Turning on dolby on headset scoops them a little more. So you essentially inverted the way they tuned the drivers. If they would have tuned them the way you have them set up, You get details and not just BOOOOOMMM!!!!!!! *rumble rumble rumble*

@Exique - Hey question for you, do you turn off DOLBY on the mix amp since you bought Dolby Access? Or do you have both on as in the MixAmp and on the software on the PC for DOLBY Access?
Thanks for the question! I turn Dolby OFF on the mix amp, and just use the Dolby Access Program shown in the video. So button off, Dolby Access and Astro Command Center EQ ON.
So basically, I put on these settings and when It's quiet, like no video playing, I hear a very light beep coming from the headset. Is this normal? It's like a very light beep that goes on (doesn't really bother but annoying when noticed.) It seems that the EQ setting might have to do something with it because when I change to a different EQ setting it becomes a bit different. Just wanted to know if there is a way to fix it.
Hello, thanks for making this video, I really appreciate it, but I do have a little problem with it, so now I have Dolby Acces, but the problem comes when I try to configure the spacial sound on the Astro Game device (The one I use for games and listening to everything) beuacse it does not allow me to enable it, however, if I go into Astro Voice (The one for voice chat) it does allow the configuration, so my doubt is, how did you manage to do it? Should I start using Astro Voice as my main and configure the other as the one for voice chat, does that affects the audio quality?

So since we have access enabled on our pc, which dolby setting should be on our actual headset? (The star or the dolby signal which are reflected on the base station of the astros)
Thanks so much! Keep the Dolby button on the headset off, and just use the dolby access program. The button turns on built-in surround sound which is really poor quality. Hope this helps!
Yes make sure that god awful surround sound via the button on the headset is OFF. Oddly I do think it sounds good ON however the directional audio gets completely messed up and will get you killed in any PvP sound whoring situation lol. OFF!

Way better sound quality than before! Tried a lot of presets before (zalias presets, all of potara's presets) but nothing came close to this. Still wondering what presets to use in games like Valorant and cod, though, since I feel like this preset isn't optimized for games.
I appreciate your comment! I think it all depends on each individual's ears to be honest. Personally I love this preset for FPS and Cinematic games. I also just love higher treble than most, which these headphones lacked. But I agree with you, I tested every youtubers settings and they sounded just as bad to me.

Sounds good! I upped the bass frequencies a bit in Dolby Access but I tend to like the sound a little more bass heavy.

ive just changed all my settings to the same as yours invideo on my pc, however i dont use the astro a50s on my pc because i play ps4, when i go back to ps4 for some reason the sound doesnt change howcome?

video is ok but you didnt mention what your sound card is, that will also play a big factor in settings as well
