Adore was and still is considered the "Darkest Album of 1997-8" by Rolling Stones and Spin magazine respectively. Now I don't really like those magazines but I do agree that Adore is a haunting, captivating and relentless assault on the senses as well as very, very emotional music. I love the album to death and this is an amazing performance of one of the most bitter sweet tracks the album has to offer. Well played Mr. Corgan. Well played indeed.
