Ingenious Resin Project That Will Blow Your Mind!
Warning: Important Health and Safety Notice:
Resin is an industrial chemical and as such should always be treated with respect and the manufacturers safety advice taken. Here is a video I have made on how I keep myself safe: • Stop Making Yourself I...
A little tip for deeper molds (or if you den´t have a straw to blow): fill the soapy water into a little plastic bottle like coke or so, give it a shake, and then "press" the bubble foam out of the bottle opening. You must only think of not tipping the bottle too much. Works great!
Wow thank you absolutely gorgeous
Stunning craftsmanship!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
Those look really cool! I never would have thought to do that.
very cute and yes very useful
Loving this idea. The results are fabulous.
I’m TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY! I’ve seen silicone “bubble mold inserts” to add to a plain round mold. But, they can be expensive to buy, and… well, round. Thank you for this!
I’m gonna try using that as a background and then put pictures on top for key fobs or maybe even a picture frame… that would look really cool!
I love this & I can’t wait to make something special for my daughter who is well known for her bubbles. This has got me happy & excited 😆
Bonjour j'habite en France en Bourgogne plus exactement j'ai découvert vos tutos résine il y environ trois semaines et je dois dire whaou. Quelle inspiration bravo
There are beautiful. I am anxious to try this for myself.
Love this effect! I will be trying this soon. Thanks, Steve! Love from Minnesota ❤
That is really good.. I always wondered what to do with the smaller pendant molds. This is a solution! Thank you
So cool. I love this. Thank you for making this video.
I love it. They look beautiful
Love this. Am going in my craft room and try this.
I’m so exited because my JDiction Resin kit just got here earlier this morning! Happy Mother’s Day to myself yay! I can’t say enough about how gr8 the unboxing experience was, it was never ending! Came with all these special surprises inside. Maybe it was a kit I didn’t realize I had purchased & came with the stuff automatically but I was only expecting to get resin & the mixing tools/cups/ & so on. It has a full jewelry making kit from necklaces, to earring hooks, glitters (10 pots), a drilling tool with all the bits, colored pigment x4 & sooo soo much! I used ur special code from another video I saw for 10% off! Thank u for putting me on to JDiction, what a wonderful experience & gr8 start my day!
Wow, I have never seen that bubble technique. I see some experimenting in my near future, lol. Thank you
The round gold one is my favourite made me want chocolate tho 😀
Thanks! Thank you so much for all your videos. I learn a lot. Love to watch you 😃
Awesome work 👏 good friend
Thanks for sharing Steve, I’m going to try this tomorrow 😊
What a lovely idea.
They look amazing 👏 xxx
Cool way to make the pieces.
These are so so cool. AMAZING. 🏆😀
I LOVE the waterdrop look! Thank you so much for sharing this fun technique! ❤
REMINDER: get straw, store in resin container on desk... 😅
Love this technique, will definitely be investing in some UV resin so I can have a go x
Love this idea. Thanks Steve
First off, love this effect!!! I experimented with just UV resin and put my soap bubbles on the very first layer, it turned out great!!
Sooooo beautiful I’m this tomorrow!!!
Looks so fun! (& very addictive)
These are brilliant. Fancy trying them with glow in dark mica powder.
I love these! Wonderful!
Those are really cool looking, thank you
Super effect 😃👍
Great technique, thanks for reminding me x
This is such a cool idea -- I've got to give it a try!
These are beautiful
Wow that’s so dope! I love!
Steve, this is so COOL! Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend.
Wow fantastic 😘🥰
GENIUS!
I love it. If you wanted the bubbles on both sides you could do the following. Put the colored resin in and use a thin layer. Let cure. Turn over and do the bubbles and jdiction resin. Let cure. Turn over. Do the bubbles with resin and let cure. I think that would work.
Just ordered some of this resin. I'm so excited
Love this technique! I will be trying it.
This is amazing! Love your channel!
Awesome technique!
my gosh that is so cool !!!!I thought for sure the water from the bubbles would of caused you trouble but wow Thank you :)
Same here. I’m positive that I saw a list of things that can cause your resin not to cure and be sticky and that one of them was water. Did I just imagine it, or has anyone else seen that?
@@Binkles I have seen that many of times. I have been thinking though because its all bubbled up it may be just soap in the bubble and the water does not mix as it bubbles up? its pretty mind warping lol I am going to have to try just to prove it to my own mind lol
It makes a flat surface interesting I’m waiting for surplies can’t wait to try this technique
Those are very cool!!!
OMG! This is so cool!
Love the bubble effect that you get and that mold is the bees knees! Thank you Steve for sharing this wonderful technique!!!
Wow that was really awesome I gota try that ....Thank You...
My mind has just been blown love this that was the 1st ever mica powder I used I miss my resin
I love this so much!!!
Super cool!
Cant wait to try this, you are so easy to follow its like you're sat in the room showing me, perfect teaching style

I love your videos. They are so informative, fun to watch, and not too long. You're amazing
The bubble effect.
Awesome!
I love it !! Love your videos! I tried some nail polish and the colors changed , food color worked too :)))) im going to try this 👍🌸✨
I have seen a few videos with the BUBBLE effect. I must say that YOUR METHOD IS THE BEST!!!
Clever technique, enjoy your tutorials with resin👏👏❤️❤️🇬🇧
I love this technique. I can't wait to try it. It looks just like the bubbles inside. Thank you for another great video.
Oh! I've done this technique with fingernail gel polish! It works just exactly the same way, and it's just so cute! :) Of course, on nails you don't get the option of which side of the bubbles you get to see, so this is actually cooler! Thanks for sharing, I had forgotten about this!
Cool video
So cool
I watched several of your videos last evening and today played with your fun experiments I LOVE the bubble effect! So happy I found you! Great work
I would love to see what these look like with a neutral background color like WHITE behind them! And no top glare please, at least 2 were impossible to see. You do so much work on these for us- can't you please add another few minutes to the end and display them on a while board?
Pretty pleeeease?
Love em. 👍
I've been doing this on UV resin for over a year, so neat!
My goodness! That’s incredible! Greetings from Russia! 🎉
Very unique!! Now I'm sure that I'll be doing bubbles with some of my bits of leftover resin.... Seems that I ALWAYS mix more than I need!!! Oh well, I always find some way to use it....
Stay safe and stay crafty👍👍🔔🔔🦋🦋🦋
Okay I gotta say of all the project that you have done I like this one better it’s awesome this one is one of my favorites I like the bubbles the way how I looks wow 🤩 I love it 🥰
Whoa!!! These are awesome!! What a cool technique!! Thanks Steve!!
Big thank you Steve!! I've been rejuvenated in my crafting since I started watching you!
Tip for you: I made a mold using liquid silicone of a beautiful crystal dish that I've had for YEARS....and put it in my metal candle pot 🤦... I then realized that I wouldn't be able to dismantle the pot and had to get creative. *I made some holes that penetrated the full thickness (5 inches) of the mold, in order to get my soapy water all the way to the bottom. I loosened all around the mold so the soap could get on the outside also. Not knowing what the heck to do next, I took it outside and started banging it on the cement walkway in our backyard. IT STARTED TO MOVE!!! So I kept doing that until it was shallow enough for me to grab and remove.
I figured you'd love to know about a remedy of my EPIC mistake turned awesome!
Thanks much! Sam❤️
Beautiful , loved the idea, u make the projects so effortlessly and also great instructions
I tried jdiction after you recommended it and I really like it. I love their uv resin too. I wish I could get their alcohol inks in the U.S but they don't ship those here
I wish i could get their silicone mold making kit but they dont sell it here either
Love this technique! They are beautiful!
WOW!! That's such an awesome technique! Thanks for sharing Steve 👊
Great! I’ve seen this technique couple years ago on nails. I think many techniques and supplies can be shared between nails and resin industry ☺️
Very cool they look like raindrops
Love this technique. I used to make stationary with this technique
Thank you, I am so happy to watch this as we have a jewlery stall costume but need to make my own. Think these will look awsome x
I love the effect, very pretty 😍 Steve
HI Steve, Super cool 👍 love them thanks for sharing ✨Lin
Hi Steve. I'm so glad that you did this technique, for I saw it over a year ago, but I didn't save it, so I couldn't remember the steps. I'll definitely be doing this one as soon as my hand heals up from carpal tunnel, and trigger finger surgery, and then shoulder surgery. I'm determined to indulge in this craft, and polymer clay too, so hopefully one day that I'll be able to sell my jewelry and use its profits to help me finance my nonprofit interests.
You've given me so many great ideas lately, that I can't wait to get into making my resin projects. I've got so many different molds, and like you, I too like the shallow molds. I've also brought JDiction resin, but I haven't been able to try it yet. I have it as one of my bi-monthly subscriptions thru Amazon, so by the time I'm ready to use it, I'll have a good supply as well as many more of your great ideas to try. Thankx for all your videos.
Hi Steve! What a fab idea! Got try this! Thank you! ☺️🇬🇧
Looks like rain drops 💜
Hi Steve, I wonder if you can tell me (or anyone else that may read this question), does the ‘bubble’ layer have to be UV resin, or can it be done with normal resin? Thanks in advance!
By the way… I love them and you are such a great teacher! ♥️♥️
@@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts - It's gorgeous! Would you please clarify for me, Do you use regular resin for the base layer, UV resin for the bubble layer, then regular resin again for the topping off? Thank you so much for all you share!
Love the bubbles 🥰
