When I saw you reposted this one, I thought it was a new video. I have to tell you the 2nd time was just as appealing as the first. Not that I want to go super far, but do you have any issue with rental boundaries and where you have to go to get into halibut and cod?

iMovie audio is supposed to be free but they know to fight it cost more than it’s worth and you could loose your channel so I tried to reconstruct it thanks for watching we appreciate it..
If weather is Bad they won’t rent boats out so it’s anywhere you can get to I was told 120 mile round trip unless you bring extra gas cans. You can catch Halibut and cod from shore but they are bigger farther out. I prefer by narrows and Pinnacle Point if you come please ask I will show you my onX trip history

Great video. Thank you for the content. I will in Seward the latter half of July. I have a lot of skiff fishing (mostly rockfish and lingcod) experience in the PNW, up to Ketchikan. I was thinking of renting a boat for the day to do some bottom fishing with my family. We are not super picky, but would love to get into some rockfish, cod or even potential at a Halibut. I don't want to drop a couple grand on the family for a charter. Do you think the rental skiffs are a good shot for us?

you can actually catch them from shore if you watch our other videos, but that trip was 15 miles away and back not all fishing was that far away though. there are lots of halibut caught in Resurrection Bay. the fishing boat gps actually show you where the last people caught fish. at least they did for us. thanks Brock was extremely happy with it although the next day 200lb was caught very close by.
