Is C6 Lynette an AMAZING Anemo DPS?

- It took me a while to build C6 Lynette because my resources are, uh, a bit low on my account right now. Blame Arlecchino lol. But it is finally time to see how good of a DPS unit she is at C6! The answer is sadly that she isn't amazing, but not dysfunctional, and she has some unique aspects to her.

I think a good rule of thumbs for "infusions" is to look at the wording.
If the attacks are being _converted_ to specific elemental dmg, it's not something that can be overriden. Those that can interact with external infusions are the ones that say a character gains so-and-so infusion.
If they gain weapon infusion, u can use the elemental sight to see it
her c6 is like a cheap version of c6 kazuha , still very fun to play

Lynette DOES self swirl (well, weapon swirl) with C6 Bennett. It's just once, since she doesn't continuously imbue with anemo. However, that pyro swirl can proc VV, so even on enemies like Tulpa, or if you just don't want to apply pyro on your set up, Lynette can shred pyro simply by pressing E in Ben C6 circle. This is notably otherwise only really possible with C6 Kazuha and it's a tech very common for whale speed runs. You can also guoba swirl with sucrose and technically Faruzan but that adds Xiangling obviously.
I planned to get Lynette's talent levels a bit higher for this video, but mostly due to Arlecchino releasing (and using the same talent materials), it took a while to get her leveled enough and I didn't know what I wanted her talent levels to end up at. I ultimately decided it barely mattered anyways since it would just slightly increase the numbers you saw from Lynette if I had gotten her NAs/skill to level 8 for example. Oh, and I wanted to try to at least have this video out BEFORE the banner was done lol. Also maybe timed appropriately for Faruzan being rerun in a couple days too.
Understandable and no worries the video was still fun and gave across your points. Got her c6 now too so will build her main dps for the overworld too
One thing I noticed, and admittedly this is a minor gripe, is that you were using dashes to get to enemies out of range while out of infusion, and Lynette doesn't have to do that, because her hold skill has a running mode. Might've saved a few seconds.

The main thing I don't like about her kit is that it's extremely finicky to get the burst to infuse the element you want. I like the idea of C6 Lynette as a "whole kit" DPS, but it's tricky to rely on something like TF/Lion's Roar because your burst will decide to eat Pyro.
her burst have differen prioritising of elements, fo example top prio for her is cryo

Rlly the opposite.. I got C6 lynette-feels bad that i didnt get Xiangling c6 instead. I think Lynette is no use for the Abyss. But Xiangling can be used on every team...

The Yelan/Fischl/Faruzan/Lynette Team is really fun to Play, I enjoy that a lot.
After I dropped that TF comment, I tried her out too and really like the ease of rotation it gives. I’m using XQ and Black Sword and it really just tops up her health enough and adds enough interrupt resistance to fully sustain her plus make it a more normal and charge focus. It’s fun and not bad.

c6 lynette is one of those units i take out in the open world because she's fun and doesn't one shot every single entity on this planet (same with dehya, heizou and main dps nilou)
cool team ideas. i've always avoided anemo because i disliked its meta options, but coming back to the game lynette seemed interesting (and free) to me.
Excellent video. There is very little information or testing for her at C6.
I have done the Yelan Fish team and it works well. Yelan + Kokomi works well. I think my favorite is Fish + Baizhu. Letting Faruzan debuff with VV for aggravate damage. Still exploring. I need to pick up Furina to explore more teams.
Cool video and there is a normal atk buffer which is ayato. A
yato's elemental burst buffs normal atks within his burst field just something you would want to know anyways keep up with the videos and have a great day

I have a c6 lynette not that well built, like the max dmg she did was like 67k on normal circunstances with faruzan and bennet buffs, but gotta say she's really fun to play

Haha Sucrose is interesting on TF as well, though it is a bit more variable since her skill CD is 15s. But she has a C4 that also can reduce the CD along with TF.
the special reactions on weapon infusion are actually because bennett and chonyun’s infusion is refreshed every 1 second whereas candace’s infusion is able to override it but only after their infusion is refreshed, hence why she is able to infuse with hydro every now and then with bennett/chongyun
That third team has been my main since I started using C6 Lynette, and that second one I'd tried but found feeling a bit lacking

Yeah this was one of the rare scenarios where C6 Bennett does interfere too much. But I could still do burgeon shenanigans with her and C6 Benny lol
I c6'd my bennett just because his infusion is extremely useful in taking down the abyss lectors on floor 12. On 'real' DPS characters like navia he doesn't override them, I'd say Benny is worth c6'ing for most people

I'd like to have her C6 as well (mine is C2 still), but I feel that even if I get C6, she won't be as used as my Heizou.
I really like using Heizou with Mona and Diona (and then have or Faruzan C6 or Fischl as the last slot), so probably if I use Heizou on one side of the Abyss and wanted to use Lynette on the other, probably I'd make the Xianyun variance.
In that sense, too bad they made her so limiting. Honestly, I feel Heizou is the only 4* Main DPS that they make it work with a lot of different teams and still do damage.
I was kinda disappointed by how Gaming is reliant on Bennett, for example. My Gaming is C6 and I wanted to make him work with Chongyun (trying some forward melt with Xianyun) but it doesn't work sadly.

You DID do a “self swirl” with c6 Bennett, with that little burst of flame at 1:09 even though there is no “swirl” text
But unlike Jean, you only “apply” (infuse) anemo once at the start, not periodically
This can be used to get VV shred on non-pyro-able enemies, like slimes and tulpa and stuffs
Yeah I think I may have cut the bit out where I mentioned I was looking for periodic swirls not just the swirl the moment of using her skill, which is much less useful, but yeah it is still nice for what you mention. Bit of a goof on my part for not thinking and mentioned that at the time
As soon as I saw Lynette on Alecchinos banner it was my second priority to get c6 and I managed to get c6! She is so fun to use
I have her at C6 she’s so good. I still remember when I was a beginner she used to be the only one alive fighting while all my other characters died
Electro-charge team plus Faruzan's Pressurized Collapse looks fantastic. I don't have C6 Lynette, but maybe I can drive it with Heizou.

I'm hearing that mistsplitter is her overall best weapon for most teams, but so many weapons seem really good on her. R1 what should i go for? Im thinking mistsplitter but haran also seems very good. I assume jade cutter is worse than those two also where does an r5 black sword compare? Especially with the marechusse set

my favorite lynette team is with furina, faruzan and jean. jean being c6 due to terrible luck so the atk spd buff from c2 is really nice
i just got my c6 lynette and building her shes one of my favorite characters now really underrated i like to pair her with fischl beidou.

I might have cut out the bit where I mentioned that I was watching and hoping for constant self swirls, not just the one time self swirl when using her skill.
Its not really useful to have a self swirl the same time as using her skill since that is applying anemo to an enemy that can likely swirl pyro anyways. Not useless, but not the recurring self swirls I was hoping for that could be abused to do some fun stuff. Two extra swirls per rotation is kinda whatever compared to the likes of Sunfire (Jean + Bennett). I didnt need something the tier of sunfire but was hoping for something more than just the initial skill activation.

self swirls can trigger the vv set effect, for example if your jean swirls pyro off of you with 4 pc vv she will apply the pyro res shred
its like this with all types of swirl dmg, thats why gouba swirling is a thing, the debuff is applied whenever an enemy is hit by a swirl of the element
this is kinda niche but its useful for swirling on enemies constantly infused with an element, like for example lets say you wanna use arlecchino against the tulpa, you can bring bennett and c6 lynette to swirl pyro off of your sword applying the res shred
its pretty neat, it works with c6 kazuha too

I got a c6 Lynette on Lyney's first banner on my challenge account (f2p where I limit how often I pull limited 5 stars and I have 10 in 2 years) and I still use her as a hard cary in abyss. I'
I suggest looking at lyneys concusive observation passive combined with xianyun

Yes but it can take time to get the buffs up. IIRC I made a video about aggravate/quickbloom Kuki a while back
Personally I use Sacrificial for my Lynette. That being said mine doesn't even have cons since the game decided I needed C10 Xiangling and Freminet. Anyway, one of my fav teams is actually Furina Lynette Fischl and Noelle.
Lynette is great with Sucrose on my alt as a Sub dps

I was so disappointed by the Bennett interaction not working. I saw Lynette, and as a based player I saw catgirl so my neurons activated, I decided that I'll get c6 Faruzan on the 3.8 Scara banner so that I'll be able to fully main dps her, then 4.0 dropped, c6'd her immidiately, built a full team, and then Bennett c6 ruined it. :sadge: my triple crowned catgirl will always just stay as a display on my account
It's never worked that way, imagine if you could do melt Ayaka just by having Bennett burst, she would be most powerful unit in the game.
There's a reason it says 'can't be overwritten' rather than can't be combined. It deletes the existing infusing in place of the new one
U can do a super conduct sword atk with keqing and chongyun, sadly it works only for 2 hits then switches to cryo

Unfortunately not as his burst says his infusion cannot be overridden. So no blooms

There are NA buffers. Yun Jin and Ayato buff NA's. Candace does too but she'll infuse you with hydro
To replace Bennet (c5) you need Furina c2. Bennet c5=Furina c2.

I did 30 wishes after getting arlecchino, hoping for 2 lynettes but got 1 and TWO weapons not even on banner. I got c5 lynette :sadge:

Now, the next step logically would be to go C6 Dori DPS Plunge, NA or CA but I don't think you have C6 and you don't want to go into debt XD (can I just say Dori is very similar to Furina with the bubble in their attack animations and their C6 giving themselves an Anemo fusion, Hoyoverse really said Furina=Dori 2.0 lol)

If you really enjoy crit DPSing anemo units it might be worthwhile tbh. But as always proceed with caution when wishing for 4 stars lol

Overworld on genshin is so easy that it doesn't matter who you use as a dps, enemies don't last even a full rotation, so main whoever is fun for you
Furina/Faruzan C6 are more relevant than Benny with her imo, but he is a more accessible option. And you can still do pyro DPS Lynette shenanigans, including burgeon stuff with Lynette that I think would be quite fun.

Lol I still like Xianyun but I only want to use her if it feels like its the main way to have the team perform well. In Lynettes instance I think she has decent enough (and fun enough) options elsewhere that its unnecessary. Especially when she can use MH without Furina
