It's staged, and it's gross. Videos like these used to pop up on Facebook all the time, where the "rescuers" would be conveniently placed to grab an animal in distress that had been thrown into the waters. They're arranged to bring traffic to a social media page.

When Mom worked at a motel near a field, I'd help her. One time I found baby mice under a pillow. I put them on the porch and called for the cat. She came looking at me expectantly to feed her and I tried to draw her attention to the mice. She'd look down at them and back up at me like " What am I supposed to do with these. And, where's the food?

@@NaeniaNightingale An octopus, really now? Any form of cephalopod requires, you know, tentacles. This is most likely a type of sea slug, as seen by the lack of any form of appendages. By the looks of it it might be a black sea hare, but I'm no marine biologist either.

Smaller bambi behind the tree already, the starting "left" head. There is some of his body caught in view in 10:02 between the tree and bum bambi. Then go grazing and hide and bum bambi turns to the left alone in the scene.
