Alot of bigger houses have 2 kitchens. 1 that the staff use and the bigger/posher one will bearly be touched. It's more for show than to be used

Angelo, the first kitchen was the butler's pantry and the other side of the upstairs would have been the servants quarters. Super explore!

The servants in old houses like that usually had their own area with a back staircase.

At 12:00 the section with the smaller kitchen, and smaller rooms were probably the servants quarters. Mansions in that era had a completely separate section where are the servants lived.

That hole other section at the second floor that was a bit smaller was probably a servant quarter considering the age of the house😊
OMG!! This place is gorgeous!!! I would love to live in a place like this, but I would have to hire a cleaning crew LOL 😂 (too huge for 1 person to clean, it would take all day)
Dang, that foyer is beautiful I love the wallpaper and the staircase, I also love large kitchens. That one room with the sink might have been a utility/laundry room. Foyer floor is awesome, I love the black and white checkered tiles. The rounded archways are beautiful too, lots of natural lighting too!! I love the bathroom/washroom with the claw foot tub, so cool. That panel looks like a Carbon Monoxide detector or an updated thermostat. That looks like a cedar wood walk-in closet. (They use Cedar to keep the bugs out, like a cedar wood hope chest)

That kitchen looks more like an institutional kitchen set up, not particularly Kosher arrangement. Especially with the bathroom near the entrance with the toilet stall. It gives me an impression of being an old mansion converted into a retirement home.
Gorgeous, huge old home! Absolutely gorgeous! I think that this could be saved & restored quite easily, as I didn’t see any real decay! It looks like several families could have lived there! With the age & unknown history, it may have paranormal activity! I would love to see this wonderful house restored & lived in once again! In Canada we call it washroom but in America they call it bathroom
A lot of upper-class homes had two kitchens for parties. Also, the small stairs would have been leading to the servant quarters.

😲😲 this place is GORGEOUS! I'm like u the staircase is AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL. be a shame to tear it down. They do a lil renovation and updating it it would be usable for a home maybe apartments or even a lodge.

According to Google there are 2 kitchens...one is used basically for passover. Also...dairy and meat products are nit supposed to intermingle.
With the Jewish kitchens they had two because of certain foods couldn't be cooked or placed together. Also cooking pots had certain uses and could not be used for cooking or storing anything else.
It is a very nice home inside, it would probably need some tlc but it’s really nice
