Ma quarantaine forcée s'illumine... Mais de toute façon, voilà plus d'une année que je ne démarre plus une seule semaine de cours avec mes élèves sans leur passer "le truc beau", et vous êtes non seulement à chaque fois ou presque mis à contribution, mais aussi au cœur même de ce qui nous fait vraiment vivre. Ils en redemandent, et pas seulement pour "rater" du cours : j'en ai vu un qui était en pleurs sur Haendel, par exemple (Tu del ciel ministro eletto)... Alors je l'ai invité à bien regarder qu'il avait raison d'être en pleurs devant la beauté, à voir que le chef d'orchestre essuyait la larme de la dame qui chante... Du fond du coeur et de l'âme, merci ! Je vibre tous les jours avec ce que vous mettez en ligne depuis des mois. Ma réponse vidéo à la vôtre, ce matin, alors que je commence à sortir du décalage horaire, c'est de "sortir" au matin sur le semi-balcon qui m'est interdit (mais tant pis) et de regarder le ciel avec vous et Purcell - czcams.com/video/nrPiCbOW6Fg/video.html Merci, merci et merci !

Just love Lea Desandre and Les Arts Florrisants, aurally and visually beautiful. What a privilege it is to be able to listen to such superb artists performing such wonderful repertoire.
4 artistes extraordinaires au service d'une musique sublime ! Petit détail que seul un oeil exercé peut remarquer : Thomas Dunford ne joue pas sur un théorbe comme annoncé mais sur un archiluth (en Sol), instrument probablement de Giuseppe Tumiati, luthier près de Milan, mais le détail amusant c'est qui s'est fait mettre 16 clés sur la boîte, alors que l'instrument est monté en cordes simples. Petite coquetterie esthétique car pour passer de simples cordes à doubles cordes il faudrait re-percer tous les trous du chevalet, et changer le sillet !

Bardzo pięknie Pani spiewa. Widziałam Panią w Mezzo z repertuarem hiszpanskim i zapamiętałam Pani naturalność i wrażliwość. I poczucie humoru w śpiewie z J.J. Orlińskim. Życzę dalszych sukcesów.
Oprócz pani, jest też tutaj dwóch-, trzech panów, którzy bardzo ładnie akompaniują.
Da geht einem das Herz auf. Ich freue mich schon auf die CD mit Lea Desandre und Thomas Dunford, die im September erscheinen wird. Die beiden sind einfach wunderbar.
William Christie is one of my favorite conductors and Les Arts Florissant are great musicians. European classical music is unparalleled and its future is in safe hands.

Thank you for opening and presenting this wonderful music composed by, atleast for a lay person like me, mostly unknown or hardly known authors. It changed my perception of european music so much, it made classic music interesting, again. Dunfords lute changed my perception of guitar, and the roots of guitar music ... as if there is a new source, a new world, unknown priorly yet so rich, wonderful and inspiring i can hardly express. And Leas vocal is the most beautiful, completely natural singing I heard in ages. The genius is just surreal. Excuse me, if it seems exorbitant or exaggerated, but this is my sincere perception of this music. Thank you.
I feel the same way I play classical guitar and I love the instrument but dunford influences me a lot not only in the way of playing but also in the way of feeling the music for plucked strings and the beautiful melodies of all times for these beautiful instruments, what to say about the beautiful violin or the beautiful voice of Lea, she is an angel.
