There are blocking tight ends, and catching tight ends. He's light if his job is to block. In juco, he can do both, but in places like Oklahoma or Mississippi, Auburn, and such...he is light.
We still don’t know for sure who the OC will be. More than likely it will be Shurmur, which will be a more pro style system. So yeah, it could be exiting with this kid. The TE’s they are getting will be more impactful in the running game and pass protection though.

They got a transfer from the Big 12 already same height at 250lbs. It’s going to be interesting as coach PRIME LIKES SMALL RECEIVERS .. IM NOT HATING BUT HIS 26 TOTAL CATCHES OVER TWO YEARS AT THE JUCO LEVEL IS NOT ALOT OF EXPERIENCE. I LOVE THE SIZE, DO NOT KNOW HIS 40 TIME? But he may be a sleeper coming out of the Bronx New York. I hope he is training and catching balls all day every day and practicing his release off the line against pressure. Size and foot work and good hands and coordination are going to be required. He appears to be a rough stone that could become a polished gem. But that sample size spells inexperience and next season sures hands and fleet footed exceptional route running receivers will be the prime targets of SHEDDEUR…That baller who shined against USC ( Omarion )May find himself playing the spot vacated by Michael the graduated TD all tight end… Prime loves small and fast receivers.

I prefer shorter TE. I want him to be just big and strong enough to block effectively but nimble enough to beat most LB. Brock Bowers is the best TE in this mold that i've ever seen.
One player can't turn around the program. Colorado needs some serious attitude adjustments as a team and coaching staff.They started out great,then got their butts handed to them game after game after game. I like Coach Sanders,but I question,why do you fire your offensive coordinator,when the defense was the real problem? When you have a team down 25 points and you lose because you don't know how to finish a game.Thats not the players,that's the coaching. Great coaching staffs make adjustments during the game to get Ws. I wish Colorado all the best,It would be great to have a 10 win season. I would love to see all the haters have to eat crow.

Oregon lineman on both sides of the ball made Colorado linemen look like it was a game between NFL vs little league...Nix had all week to throw, Shedeur couldn't even get the ball from the center before he was sacked....in the games they won, they allowed 5 sacks and the games they lost the allowed 5+sacks....that's how bad their line was. Had they only allowed 5 sacks they probably go 11-1...THAT'S CRAZY
