Im gonna be doing a full bio active 4×2×2 enclosure. Could u do a video of kinda making a list of the layers, how to mix it and where the best places to get ur sources? Ext. I want to recreate a natural pond with running water, sticks, moss ext.
Can you also add little bit of flower growing soil to the bottom layer of substructure for plant roots to hold?
I think this would have been a great video if I could have heard it. I had the volume turned all the way up but unlike the other videos I've been watching today, I could barely hear this one.

I have a question regarding the sphagnum moss. How is it sustainably harvested? Isn't it harvested with peat?
I believe it’s sustainably harvested is because sphagnum moss is grown in large farms with spores vs being gathered in the wild
I thought peat was the texture given to sphagnum (peat) moss (?)

Sorry for the question but how will your plants immediately access the nutrients within your bio active substrate if the only components added take a while to break down and release these needed nutrients, would it be possible to add some organic potting soil to help maintain healthy nutrient levels for your plants?
potting soil won't last very long, and will end up basically compacting and turning into mud over time. try using worm castings/vermicast for nutrients.
a good catch-all substrate mix is something like equal parts sphagnum, coco fibre, orchid bark, carbon and sand. this will provide enough drainage/retention and nutrients, and will work well for a range of uses and can be tweaked depending on the type of terrarium being made. also, springtails!

This comment is a bit of a side away from this topics frankly, but being due just so being compelled to state; Mississippi desperately lacks what is thats this type energy thats just got masculinity radiating from it. Either yall just straight up doing it fine, the gulf coast severely underpopulated or rather rarely available around me having certain extents of traits quite the opposite of my own that may missing from my scenario. Characteristics got put on 1080 with a quickness. Handsome appetite got eye spied, i hope its no mind. For insight as well, initially here by specific search and completely driven educationally. Though, couldnt help myself to share in case it finds the type of appreciation having said that mutual! Yall got that seductive essence that draws on a fem subconcious. No doubt. But thats aside completely out of context! Because thanks so much for also being the exact information that ive been looking for from this aspect, over maybe almost 3 days and many clicks, so thank you specifically for that most importantly!
