Did he mention the racist history is largely cultivated, kept and maintained by the Left? I only started watching so I dunno. Of course there are racists everywhere, but the _big_ institutionalized racism is almost the sole preview of The Left.
All this "ThE PaRtiEs fLiPpEd" crap is just that, CRAP! Even if it were true, it wouldn't erase the 140 years of pure, unadulterated "Africans are a lower form of people, thus they can be bought and sold as properly" raw RACISM of the Democrat Party; created in 1828 to maintain the practice of slavery. They seceded from the union despite the fact Lincoln made it clear he wasn't going to abolish slavery, started the civil war (using States rights over Federal power as a smoke screen) when that failed instituted Jim Crow, the KKK was founded by Democrats...
Right up until 1964 when southern Democrats held a SIXTY DAY DAY filibuster in opposition to the Civil Rights act. Fun fact, it was the longest filibuster in US history up 'til that point, and triggered sweeping changes to the rules surrounding Filibustering.
Sorry...i always go on this rant. Not enough people know this very important history. The "parties flipped" has got to be the most effective piece of propaganda in US History.

Planned parenthood was a pet project to reduce the numbers of blacks. BLM radicals are pushing to abolish police...which would really only happen in urban areas with a lot of poor black people. I was in the military from 2013 to 2019, primarily over seas, and in that time I had the privilege of working with Ethiopians, Chinese, Philippians, etc. Each of them loved America and what it stood for. When I got out and came home, I suddenly was bombarded by how I should hate myself for being born white and male. College students and teachers tried their damnedest to make me humbled though back talk and side remarks which I ignored, considering them to be morons who didn't understand what it meant to be willing to sacrifice for your home and country. After all the current events and happenings I began to lose hope, and was starting to believe that my fellow Americans wanted cruelty and hatred to be our defining trait. Of course this isn't helped by the fact the the news seems to either inflame issues or ignore them. Your videos have been a life saver, be they about comics, video games, or current events because the showed me that there are plenty of others who see this madness for what it is. ...Don't they just mean that by definition, you can't say that all lives matter if Black lives are being excluded from that list?
And whatever the commercial says, that's been the whole point of the main statement in the first place. People are saying that Black lives matter precisely because they're devalued and treated as so worthless, especially relative to those of others. And I haven't seen all this outcry all this time when the victims of other stuff, like European events, are lifted up or when hundreds of people line the street when a police officer loses their life. I didn't see all this horror and outrage and protests that all lives matter. I didn't see people taking the lifting up of one life or one group of lives to mean that the many others lives didn't matter. There magically didn't seem to be this big need to argue like that and interpret things that way until people had the nerve to say that Black lives need to be valued and respected. Heck, when JSG talks about how male victims of assault and abuse are disregarded and disrespected, and how objectionable that is, I don't take it as meaning that female victims *don't* matter. I see it as meaning that male victims need to be lifted up and listened to and have their struggles highlighted and respected the way those of female victims are. (Minus the existing issues with how the latter is currently done, that is.)
Oh, but I guess to you, if I say Male Assault Victims Matter, that's clearly a sexist statement that female victims don't.
I don't think people are as clueless as they're pretending to be. Like I said, it seemed perfectly okay to talk about other groups of people and how their lives and suffering needed to be valued and remembered and never allowed to happen again.
And if people really are that obtuse, then that suggests something about their own viewpoint: that to say one group matters inherently means devaluing others. So the way their mind works, they can't respect White lives without disrespecting Black lives, I suppose. Kinda like these extreme feminists who act like to build up women you have to ignore, mistreat, and otherwise be awful to men.
Speaking of this sort of thing, I have noticed a difference in how smaller numbers of casualties from one place will be emphasized far more than a considerably larger death count in another. It's not that I have a problem with Place A victims' being honored; it's that it's not fair for the Place B deaths to be treated so lightly in comparison. And to me this is much the same thing: Black lives get devalued, and people are trying to object to that and say how wrong this is. Though I think the companies & politicians getting in on the act are largely full of schist. They act like George Floyd was the first victim and that they're only just now noticing other problems that have been in existence for bloody decades and longer!
By the way, given the history of this country and of the establishment of the police force itself, it makes a whole lot of sense for race to be one of the most apparent and suspected factors in stuff like this. Do you really think it's coincidental how these proportions work out? Why aren't we constantly hearing of unarmed Caucasian men being killed by all these well-meaning, non-racist police who just made honest mistakes and need more training and apparently more testosterone and more vision testing and...? But I digress....
Though I will note that the overlall problem is definitely not *solely* about race. The fact that someone like the Golden State Serial Killer got to serve in both the military AND the police force does not bode well, does it?

Yeah, I got the age restriction warning despite not having it on but outside of that, great video.
And yes, speaking from my own experience the whole 'Black people don't like those who go outside the norm' thing is 100% true. It is an identity crisis type of deal where they common idea is that we have to adhere to this idea of what being 'Black' is but at the same time it can't be defined as a complete finite thing because even in the US it varies so much from whatever region you are in. The 'Black community' in the South is different from one in the North or the Midwest and so on and so forth to the point you realize that there is no point in trying to define it so tightly because that would rob THOSE experiences of their own POV. It's the same with how people try to shrink the cultures in Africa to ONE THING when that's not how it works but we see so many people, especially NOW, trying to do that because they're so fucking stupid when it comes to Black American culture, African culture, ect they just want to homogenize it to present it to be something easy to like and share and I hate that so much.
BLM was already hijacked to begin with and I feel its too late to try to 'show' people that now given that far too many people adhere themselves to the more vengeful views of it. They have used this movement to let out all their unbridled rage and racism towards White people with the excuse being that it was 'coming' but their anger isn't being levied at their attackers. Just random folks who have fucking nothing to do with their problems but because their White, that's good enough. And all this does is add to the madness, the rage, the anger and nothing gets done. George Floyd and the officer who killed him have long been forgotten or when they do bring George up they put him up as a pillar of 'the Black experience'.
No disrespect to the man at all but singling him out as THE example of EVERY Black American is not only insulting but once again lumping all of us into one collective that is not at all true, especially when you put into idea his own personal life and HIS personal experiences. But one thing I noticed some Black people like to do is grasp onto the victim narrative. We are forever victims and that's what a lot of folks want to be defined as. Not as champions that have risen from the injustices that have been done to us or our family members but constantly forever strong but also forever victims. As mentioned by what you brought up, that victimhood for some has become apart of their identity and for some they feel like they are nothing without it, failing to realize what that actually makes them look like. We have made being a victim to look like something to uphold when it's the worst thing to be but when you look at it, it makes sense why people push for victimhood vs growth. Growth takes time, it takes work, sometimes it takes doing things that you don't want to do or you don't THINK you don't want to do because you fear what could come next. Being a victim however means that you can remain locked in a stage and have people do the work FOR you and that's what it seems that the Black community has turned into; endless victims while at the same time screaming about how we have the best culture in the world. Kind of contradicts that when in order to be 'strong' we constantly have to tear down others and make them feel ashamed of themselves, constantly talk about how everything we 'had' was stolen and can't make it without things being lowered to a point that it's ridiculous. I see no strength in that, I see no pride. I see a bunch of people who ironically are the very type of thing they constantly label every White person which is someone who does nothing but gets everything for the color of their skin.
Well, we have people pushing for that but as it is nothing has happened of changed. Most of those proposing these ideas always seem to come from elite parts anyway so like so many 'plans' these ideas are not going to go back to the community but just languish away in the valleys where a bunch of Twitter whos continue to snark away on their accounts and then cry when people call them out for being massively egotistical and stupid.
Sorry for the long comment but this was a great video, one of your best even without the connection to comics and movies. Everyone acts like they want to hear 'Black voices' but they never seem to come to those away from the glamor areas, those who can pick out the many other problems facing the Black community other than police brutality. There are a lot of things that the Black community needs to hear if we want to actually grow but it's become apparent that what most people want to do is just blame it on the random White person they see because it's become accepted to state that all White people are by default and genetically structured to be evil and racist. I foresee someone getting their teeth knocked out one day when someone is pushed too far with this shit and defends themselves. It won't be pretty and I'm sure the media all around will try to make it 'proof' of something but the only proof it will be of is that people are getting sick of this shit.

    Just Some Guy.
I applaud your voice in these matters. Like you, I too acknowledge that individual racism and prejudice still exists in the world (I should know, I’ve been prey to it), but to suggest that it’s the entire, or even most of the apparatus? In logic, we call it a fallacy of composition (for those of you who don’t know, here it is in practice: Jacob Rogers is an a-hole; Jacob Rogers lives in Portland; therefore everyone in Portland must be an a-hole; I don’t know how or why so many people are falling for this). I’m glad you realize this and I think more people need to as well. I’m not against fighting racism and prejudice, but, like you, I am against mob justice, cancel culture, loot protesting, and just downright stupidity.
This kind of obnoxious, dangerous, and violent behavior needs to end; as you said, the movement is becoming the demon they seek to eradicate. No person, including white people, should have to apologize for the color of their skin, yet that’s exactly what this movement would have them insist they do. In this country (and in any developed one) you are innocent until proven guilty, but the movement would have you believe that you are just downright guilty and need to acknowledge it or else...this isn’t justice, this is the definition of a mob.
My anthropology professor taught me that we are all ethnocentric, but the difference between an ethnocentric person and a racist is that an ethnocentric person is inviting (they don’t simply say “you are inferior”, they MAY indeed say that, but they also say “come and join me, join us, let us show you the better way; let us show you why you are wrong and why we are right; let us teach you a better way.”) Indeed, we are, ALL of us, like this. But not everyone is racist, not everyone wants to see someone brutally executed due to the color of their skin or due to their culture; THAT is a racist, and the movement wants us to admit this? That is insanity incarnate.
I never EVER feared the cops just for being around (unless I’m aware I’m doing something I know I shouldn’t be, but I’m obviously not going to admit anything here). Most of the time, they catch my attention if they’re sticking out like a sore thumb in a certain environment where they aren’t normally; say I’m walking in a Target and suddenly I see four of them hurrying with an employee to a certain area of the store; of course this is gonna catch my curiosity and I might even utter an “uh oh”, but I have never been afraid just because they’re there. Oh, and by the way, NO, I’m not white, I’m brown as an oak tree.

The feminist rather than back down went "well even gay people can be homophobic" The entire argument was she was talking about was she was pretty much saying white guys are default racist, homophobic, misogynists etc and he being a white guy who tried arguing with her must of been by default a straight white guy who fit those bigoted views. Its a phenomenon I have seen often, straight white men are to be hated because straight white men had power for generations (yet also have been the ones going to war, doing jobs that gave them a early death even in factories etc) they accept gay men until they have an opinion they disagree with at which point they are shoved with the straight white men, the same for non white men but they give them a little more freedom. In actuality they are the biggest bigots of all as they decide whom they think deserves respect let alone any of their time and everyone else is below them, yet someone who thinks everyone matters and to use context when judging is somehow the actual bigot!

      Exactly.
      They do this to Europe as well;
They act and talk like Europe, because the vast majority is white, is a single culture.
Of course, they also insert their "whites are racists" ideology into the mix to paint an entire region as bad because of the majority's skin colour.
Can't be that bad here in the west, looking at all the people in need coming here rather than anywhere else, illegally if they have to.

I'd love to read a book on your personal philosophy and the background that brought that on. I apologize if I come off ads a kiss-ass, but I'm honestly interested. I’ve been a fan of Hoffer’s for years and have given away copies of The True Believer to many friends especially within the last two years or so. Hoffer was, along with Ray Bradbury, one of our “patron saints” at the used bookstore I used to work at. I took a copy of TB home one day and was pretty amazed by the ideas of this philosopher longshoreman. It’s truly an inspired work and totally relevant in any time period or era. Far from being banned, it needs much wider exposure, as wide as possible in fact, as it definitely needs to be heard by as many people as possible. Keep in mind avenue that allowed all of this to happen *_is_* racism. For years, African Americans _were_ oppressed, and that oppression resisted attempts to abolish it for _centuries:_ that continual pressure created the black community as we know it now. Now, their culture is a culture of rebellion, because that's what they were for centuries - rebels. They had to be, in the sense that it was literally impossible to be anything else at the time.
Add to that the occasional resurgence of hate against African Americans, and the fact that African Americans themselves now generate that hate _legitimately_ by being needlessly rebellious, and you get a vicious cycle that continually builds pressure. All it takes is one more mistake, and *_*boom*_* - all that pressure comes out at once.
I do not like saying this, but if we had dealt with this more effectively - NOT allowing statues of _certain_ soldiers to stand in the name of honor that doesn't exist, NOT allowing the officers responsible for crimes like this to go unpunished or minimally punished - the narrative of ongoing oppression wouldn't have any ammo. This is the fault of the entire United States of America.

Yes, but regardless of which side it was, isn’t that the same as hiding, nay, denouncing, the fact that at one point in time long ago, that town that erected that statue had sent a number of its young men to fight and die? It’s easier to acknowledge a statue than to look for a draft record in some dusty closet of an old courthouse. But if the time is come those towns forget the mistakes that led to that civil war, then so be it. It’s already happening. This country wants to bury the grotesqueries of its past.

You're either a moron, or a bigot who think's he's being slick. Those war statues don't merely acknowledge that the war happened: they openly praise the efforts of the defeated slavers and villains who started the war by murdering their own countrymen. The statues need to be destroyed because their mere _existence_ pretends that the South did nothing wrong.
_"But if the time is come those towns forget the mistakes that led to that civil war, then so be it. It’s already happening. This country wants to bury the grotesqueries of its past."_
