Agree! The clarity and volume on the tremolo separates this version from all of the others I've heard. I play this piece but can get my trem to sound anywhere near this punchy although I see how he does it.

I see comments like"It is not the best version"bla bla.That means you never searched this song carefully okay.I listen this music a lot.From high school first grade,and i play guitar a very long time.Emmanuel Rossfelder,you have my deep respect monsieur.Really.Recuerdos is a complex song not the highset complexty and it need long nails to played this clean.And emmanuel nailed it.Emotion and passion?Watchh asturias of him.He doesnt like that kind of attitudes.He plays with it of course,but not bragging about it.And no one can say that i dont feel anything while listening this.I feel like i am in Alhmabra in the muslim era and now at the same time.Such talent.And of course ,Master Tarrega.I am not authorized to say about him because he is out of our league ,waaaayy out 👍
I agree with everything but the nails, either you have well kept, strong nails like his or you have none...its more than possible to use your bare fingers. I play steel string acoustic and it would be impossible to do this with nails. Its good for the nylons but i think i would still prefer no nail.

This is an exceptional version. Have to say this is the best one so far. But then again most of the other maters are also exceptionally good as well. The quality of the sound on this is the best though.
