I was bummed when I got the second one, until I actually thought about it! It really works well--I love having the extra crates and crispers. Plus it looks like they often go on sale too which makes it a win-win, IMO.

Makes me cringe when I see other CZcamsrs cutting the clamshells open or talk about throwing the empty packages away! Don't they know how VALUABLE these things are??? 😆

@@DivaDioramaI have 2 of these now, I found 1 the other day at my walmart clearance for 25!!! Tlk about a steal I was so excited, n my first one was overflowing so def great to have a 2nd. I glued the little cardboard pieces in mine with tacky glue. Now they stay in place. Haven't seen if u realized it so I'm sorry if I'm just missing it but the big menu board with the tabs is actually to go on one side when u close it to keep ur items in place. I have both of mine jam packed n the quality is amazing it holds it all n doesn't pop open, def made well. Now I'm hoping like u mentioned they make a miniverse fridge like on the case. Wouldn't that be amazing to add to our kitchens!!!!
@@callielou2 Wow! What a great SCORE! That's awesome! I actually did a short on the using Glue Dots adhesive to secure the cardboard into my AYCE, but I imagine Tacky Glue works just as well! A fridge would be awesome, wouldn't it? 🤔

Sounds like you've got quite the collection! I'm missing quite a bit of series 1--and a few of both series 2 foods as well--I REALLY want that pot from the mac n cheese!
You need the kitchen , the stove is the uv light
I did eventually get one. Even without the UV function it's still worth it! SO cute!
Couldn’t find more crates or bins so made some from cardstock and acetate from packaging.

I just made a fridge and countertop. Will have to try the crates and crisper next.

The meal planner page goes into the case so you can cover one side and cover it when you close it and the two sides don't mix.
I use double sided tape to hold the background pieces in.
I ended up using what I had, which was my Glue Dots adhesive--but I was thinking double stick would work too!

This is not the first time I heard about this!!! Sadly, I have yet to see it in any of the dollar stores I've been to!--You can be sure, however, that if I EVER found MiMs of ANY kind at that price, I'd STOCK UP! 😆
I got lucky n found the only 4 they had out of 4 dollar general near me! Since then they haven't stocked anymore. Glad to know Walgreens has them. Gonna ck tomorrow. Missing a few from series 1.

Maybe use a tacky thing or washi tape since it is not very very sticky?

Hi Diva, You wouldn't still have some of the cardboard from this set? I've been making recipe books with your tutorial, but my case came in the reduced packaging so I would have to patchwork the cover on it. I wish I kept my cardboard from series 1 and diner series 2 as well
Nevermind, this lovely person in Australia still hasn't opened hers so she will send me some of hers. I helped her get the Valentines set and a Wonka. She said she hasnt even gotten a UV light yet so has done none of them but has collected most lol
My apologies for the late reply! I'm so glad you found someone to help you out! The really awesome thing about the MiM series is that they make for great stand-alone minis too, should you opt not to put them together!
Another reason is that you have one case to keep your finished minis in, and the other to keep your ingredients and accessories!!! Or did you already mention that 🤔
